Peters is a former hog. Can’t hurt. I wanted Jerry to draft him 18 years ago. He was a TE for the razorbacks used mostly as a 6th lineman, and he was a beast.

2 things are true here ; 1) the cowboys created this situation and mess by being Ill prepared 2) peters is the best stop gap option for us this year given the situation.

no one who wants peters is disillusioned by what he is- an over the hill band aid to come in this season and stop the bleeding. That said it’s OK to be encouraged by the signing given the options available and the cost of others. We aren’t expecting pro bowl peters or even elite peters.

come on in, be serviceable, give smith some knowledge and be a veteran presence among the o line and locker room and it’s well worth the try. Don’t really get all the *****ing and moaning. We aren’t in an ideal situation but peters isn’t the issue and that’s a completely different story.
