The signing would make a lot of sense for this team, the cost also won't break the bank. He signed a year 1.75 million deal last year with the Bears. I'm presuming similar terms.

Not great on the sacks allowed but I think we've seen some shaky LT play before in the form of Chaz Green who allowed 5 sacks in a single game. So I would take Peter's over some big unknowns.

Maybe Tyler will play LT, and maybe he'll be even better than Tyron...Maybe not.
Maybe they sign Peters, and he plays LT until Tyler gets more experience as a pro, and gets used to the speed of the game. Maybe Peters stays at LT all season. Maybe they don't even sign him. Maybe Tyler plays LT and Peters plays LG...Maybe not.

I don't comment here much anymore for many reasons, but to see this excitement from you guys over a 40 yr old tackle is mind boggling to me. I get that it's Peters but there's a reason he's just been sitting around this entire time...he's freaking 40...Just truly shows how bad things are for this team/fanbase smh.
