Serious question…

Do you think Jerry wants to win a Super Bowl again before he passes….he’s getting pretty old now

My guess is he is comfortable living in the past

I think Jerry wants to win.

That being said. I think he is so arrogant and so narcissistic that he wants to win HIS WAY.

So yes he wants to win. But….. he would rather lose than admit he sucks as a GM. Which is evident based on the fact he has sucked for 26 years now and hasn’t changed anything.

I think he realizes on some level that he can't get it done but his pride won't let him step aside. So instead of doing what it takes to win, he shifted his goals to setting franchise value records that he hopes will never be beat.

Stephen was always about the money anyway so he is on board with this.

Your first and last sentence are contradictory. A man who wants to win does not keep a GM who blows, and he has publicly admitted that he blows as a GM. So, no, he doesn't care about winning.

I believe he does. The problem is that he is now Al Davis in that he fails to understand the league has changed. There are ton of dynamic playmakers at QB around the league and having a game manger with an iffy run game and awful OL isn't a recipe for success.

"we go as Zeke" goes is great 20 years ago but not in today's league.

At Jerry's age he is simply unwilling or unable to adapt.

I think Jerry wants to win before he dies where people praise him for his football knowledge. I firmly believe Jerry would rather be in the Hall of Fame as a GM or even coach before being in there as an owner.

Jerry fancies himself a football guy. And he wants people to acknowledge that he's a football guy. I think it's more important for him to win his way, with him getting the accolades than just hiring people who can make the decisions and deliver a winner.

That's why Jimmy sits on the sidelines waiting for his Ring of Honor moment. Jerry despises that most fans give Jimmy much of the credit for those SB teams. Jerry wants to be seen as the guy who delivered the winner, who picked the players, etc. So yes, I think he wants to win but he wants to (and thinks he can) win on his terms.

27 years says otherwise. But he's a stubborn, arrogant fool. He ain't changing.

I do believe it. I also believe he is not capable of winning without much smarter people around him making decisions.

He is winning. He puts this joke of a team out on his field. And the folk STILL buy the overpriced tickets, gear and beer at his stadium.

He wins, over and over again. Making millions. He doesn't care about trophies any longer.

No, as long as he's got the most money, that's what he's after, even though he can't take it with him.

its contradictory to you and me because we don’t have a mental health condition. Jerry is a narcissist. It’s a mental health disorder. He doesn’t think like you and I do.

He wants to win. But he is sick and demented and refuses to make the sacrifices necessary to do so and is just hoping to luck into one before he dies.

Since he knows his way doesn't work but still insists on staying the course, no, he does not want to win. The proof is staring us in the face.

I'd bet everything Jerry is not convinced his way does not work. Thats the problem.

of course he does. his ego needs it, but the question one should ask is: Does he put winning above all? the clear answer is NO.

Who cares? Jerry’s a clown. His desire to win means absolutely nothing!
