Any one else pissed by this guy? He was pouting and walking with his head down in the 1sr quarter. Dude seems soft. How is this guy supposed to be a #1? Need an alpha in the WR room.

In his career this usually hasn't been a problem so I'm not super concerned... yet. I think that he was getting very frustrated by just how challenged Dak was at getting the ball out effectively. I do not entirely blame him, but yes. Lamb played a bad game against Tampa.

I was honestly too distracted by Dak's terrified and clueless body language. Seriously, I've made no bones about my opinion that Dak is overrated, but I didn't think he was THAT bad. And speaking of body language, what was up with his movement when he took a snap? He was raising his elbows up to his head every time he dropped back.

He's a diva. When things are going his way, he's arrogant and flamboyant. When things aren't going his way, he pouts and disconnects.

Some WRs have similar traits but I would say that instead of pouting they just get pissed off. The difference being that pouting usually leads to someone giving less effort, and getting pissed off leads to someone giving more effort.

CeeDee and Dak hate? lol

Did y'all see how bad this Oline was in pass protection???

The receivers were getting blanketed all game long as well. CeeDee was constantly getting double covered, but the rest of the receiving crew consistently struggled to get open on 1-on-1 coverage. The few times they would make a completion, it would come back due to some dumb penalty committed by the Oline.

But, yeah, let's bash CeeDee and Dak.

I've never seen a player have such an obvious Jekyll & Hyde dynamic. From game to game Dak can literally look like an entirely different player. Some games he looks athletic and fluid, others he moves like a robot. For much of his career Dak kind of had an unflappable mentality. Even as a 4th round rookie thrust into action the moment never really seemed to big for him. In the last year or two he has had this deer in the headlights look to him that just seems very out of character.

I do think the ankle injury was the beginning of the end. I get how that could #1) sap an athlete of a good deal of their athleticism and #2) mentally wear on you and make you jittery in the pocket.

Yeah, I wonder if he just isn't capable of running anymore as opposed to just being scared. When he does run it looks like he's 50 years old.

If I had to guess, it is probably some combination of the two. He is also going to turn 30 this year. Most players begin to decline athletically pretty dramatically after 30 so I think the ankle may have just accelerated the process.

Many forget, but there was a chance Dak was never going to play football after that. It is rather remarkable he recovered the way he did, but it is unreasonable to expect him to be the same athlete afterwards.

I noticed it. But I would add that everyone else on offense had a body language of disinterest and not wanting to be there. Everyone besides Micah and Diggs on D had similar body language. It looked like the whole team was shell shocked and not ready for the game. They looked like they were playing a preseason game. They had the body language of being forced to play the game instead of wanting to play and compete. I think for me that was the most disheartening. It seemed like I was more excited for football to start than them. JMO

The thing is since CeeDee is considered the top dawg now for the receiver group, all the moaning and tantrums just going to spread to the other receivers because they see what he is doing. Team is a mess right now.
