Ok gotcha. You need to combine two players' statistics to try and trash the QB, at least you're consistent.

Dak's longest run was to the stadium medical facility for X-rays. Zeke averaged over 5 yards per carry so don't knock him, he was one of the only things about his offense that was working.

If anyone seen Dak in college against the elite teams like Bama and LSU you know exactly why he shrinks in the biggest moments. Secondly Kellen Moore is seriously calling plays like he's at Boise State University, he refuses to run the ball with Zeke he is using stagnant route combos and concepts that are behind the majority of the league. We were able to pass the ball last year because Amari is one of the best route runners in the league. He spoke out against Dak and Kellen then was exiled just like Dez was. This front office has painted itself in a corner and it blew up in their face the first night of the season.

Dude, this #1 offense stat you use is a joke. To be the #1 offense they ran up stats when playing the terrible teams in the nfc East and went 6-0. They lost to virtually every team they played that had a winning record. In the playoff game at home against the niners they were scared and embarrassed. The OC learned from Garrett and is clueless. So yah, that guy gets a lot of the blame. It wasn’t the players who killed drives by calling his idiot trick plays. It wasn’t the players who stopped calling run plays when they were working, abandoning the run yet again. It was THAT guy.

what about more designed runs and rollouts. They seemed to work fine for Dak….. but they refuse to use it in the playbook

Bobby Belt suggests if you install it ..you call it ... and this is clearly Kellen's offense, with no input or hand print presence from McCarthy.

Sure Dak doesn't have the Cooper, Gallup and Cedrick Wilson weapons of last year, but there also seems signs that Kellen is limited and
still hasn't adjust accordingly since 2nd half season of '21.

It's not McCarthy offense, and i too don't see him taking over the play calling with an offense that is foreign stranger to him.
Such a doomed program by the entire Cowboys organization.

You stated that Dak ran better than the running backs.....as in plural....hence why the combined stats. Interesting though that you ignored the fact Dak's longest run cost the team the game but no worries, at least you are consistent.

Broaddus isn't making excuses for the QB. He rips his play plenty but also lays a lot of the blame on Kellen Moore.

Also mentions that McCarthy doesn't know the terminology to call the offense.

True and this goes back to Garrett. He wasn’t a good OC and ran an outdated O but Jerry thought he found a secret sauce/hidden gem. Doing the exact same with Moore vs finding a real offensive mind. When we were loaded on that side of course it looks good but when you actually need to scheme around certain strengths it’s trash. Dak, Zeke and CeeDee are not going to tear things up with this scheme
