Dak's numbers speak for itself.

Dak is not Rodgers or Brady but he's not the clown show that all our "fans" claim he is either.

Can we stop with this False Consciousness (fave saying atm) regarding Dak's numbers. They were compiled when he had a dominant O-Line, a decent WR Corp and a young and health running game.....all predicated by his Rookie Contract. Those days are gone and if you want to construct a here and now, try figuring out how he overcomes the 'Denver Blueprint', because when he's back teams are likely to crowd the box and take the chance that he cant beat them.

I agree he's not a clown show, but yesterday showed that he's not irreplaceable either (and i'm nowhere near advocating Rush as his permanent replacement).

Look at Dak's last 10 games or so.

In fact, if you love stats so much, look at Dak's numbers every year in his career after November 1st.

Better yet, just watch the games and disregard meaningless stats, which say almost nothing about how a QB plays in key moments.

I watched every game of Dak's career with a microscope because I had doubts about him early on and I wanted Romo to return as starter his last season.

But the last 10-12 games proves my point exactly, the entire offense was overly reliant on Dak and passing game. Cowboys offense became one dimensional and predictable. OL and Zeke were also banged up and pass protecting was hit or miss. Especially worse when TP was sole RB.

That's on KM and MM as much if not more than Dak.

Dak's number are compiled EVERY SINGLE SEASON just like every other QB in the NFL.

Yeah we can tell you're really elated about his success as we're told to expect more interceptions.
Sad thought you were really a Cowboys fan but you're a DAk fan and so am I but not to the point I can't be totally elated over what we're getting from Cooper Rush.

If you're going to compliment him just give him a compliment you don't need to throw a wet blanket on it afterwards.
Just being honest. And I did compliment him. Not sure why you can’t acknowledge that.

It’s a mystery why back up QB are conceived to be best QB when they do their job. Even with a cloud over Dak’s head is Rush the better QB. Remember when we didn’t think Rush was the 2 ?

compare both of their last 2 games.

Rush is better.

Cool.

The Cowboys winning percentage is better when Rush is playing QB than it is with Dak playing QB.

See how stupid that is? It's 100% true, but it's stupid. Just like your little stat is.
It is stupid if you don't understand the point, which you clearly don't, since you did it again.

Does the same thing apply to Dak when he took over for Romo? he wasn't even the backup..he was 3rd on the depth chart behind Romo and Moore..and was no way a better QB than Romo[/QUOTE]
Romo was a casualty walking. Dak isnt there yet. He may be getting there.

Has nothing to do with anything you play your best players (for a half, for a game for 3 games) when they are healthy...if you don't then you really aren't trying to win...are you?

I would say that Carson Wentz was better than Nick Foles, but Foles was the right move for Philly the year they won it all. Rush still has a long way to go before we give the conversation any serious life, but sitting here right now I can't argue that the team has looked better under Cooper Rush than Dak Prescott since the Minnesota game last year. Rush still needs to prove that he can play week after week against NFL competition, but so far he has passed the test. We can also argue about the why behind Dak looking so bad and Rush so good. Playcalling was night and day different this week to last, penalties overall were a worst problem last week, etc. but sitting here on September 19th I think you have to keep an open mind. If Rush can get this team to be 4 or 5 and 0 that Rush v Prescott debate starts to get interesting.

You have no clue how many interceptions he's going to throw You're honest opinion and a buck Will get you a cup of coffee and that's about it.
Sure you complimented him but but you can save that backhanded crap.
This guy's doing his best to save our season and you can't just flat out totally appreciate it without throwing out something negative.

No, as Jimmie Ward pointed out, teams were loading the box, taking away the run and just sitting back in coverage as they didnt fear Dak's ability to beat them.....and this will continue until Dak improves his accuracy and/or confidence to throw to covered receivers.

The only ones making it a "debate" are the same ones who pick him apart for anything even slight negative every week and give him 0 credit for anything good.
dak has had PLENTY of praise , support , money , and basically he has been leading this ship , and fans stuck with him through very painful losses and his ups and downs .But at a certain stage he has to win a competetive game when needed. In important games and the playoffs he is just too predictable and the results speak for themselves. 1 playoff win in 6 years. And many lossses in winnable games.

Wrong, Daks better on every level put dak on the PS and find out he doesn't last and hour..now im betting Cowboys dont put rush back down there this week but come on stop the madness. Dak far better then Rush.

No club would be stupid enough to pluck Dak from the PS with that contract he has.

No i dont. But....

I'm not the one lecturing other fans about their opinion.
opinion is when you state your views on something. trolling is when it becomes repetitive to the point that your content isnt a surprise and its done to get a rise out of others. We have several of those in here.

Al I care about it wins.

I don't care about QBR.

That stuff was invented for people that don't know what they're seeing better follow the game.
