Front office isn’t playing for this year anyway so this seems to be the right decision to get your future LT the reps.

If they were trying to win the SB this year, I’d have Peters at LT and Smith at LG.

Regardless, it is a bit disingenuous to proclaim Smith LT and Peters LG a failure.

If Peters was still a legit avg left tackle, he would be starting for an NFL team. Stop living in the past. He’s a swing tackle. If he starts at LG, it’s because we don’t have a legit starter there.

Part of me wants Tyler Smith to stay at LT and let the learning curve continue and part of me believes the best combination right now is Smith at LG and Peters at LT.

IDK, Smith has been outstanding at LT, and as great as Peters has been throughout his career, he probably doesn't have the speed TS has anymore.

I think it’s smart to keep Tyler at LT.

That’s his future position so he’s getting valuable experience.

He’s also played well there so don’t change.
