That's the kind of people that like Dak, if you don't lick his shoe they will call you all kinds of names...that is their nature.

the thing is that a few of them want us to love Dak on a personal level regardless of his level of play.

the rest of us have an easier and less emotional time because we could care less if they embrace Cooper Rush…….I look at bottom line results and nothing else. I couldn’t give a rip about if a player “gives back to a community” or has regifted trinkets from his sponsors and given the free stuff to his teammates

I treasure substance over fluff, style and not if I self identify with a certain player…..just judging on results

if Rush plays to his skill level and salary cap level, he has to be judged on that alone. We can’t judge him like a 7 year vet that takes up 20% of the salary cap, but that’s exactly what this small minority of personal Dak fans feel compelled to do…….it’s a bad look

The only question is if Chris Collingsworth will still feel obligated to make up a story about Cooper Rush buying his deceased mother a house this past summer like he did with Dakota

……..something is telling me he wont “feel some kind of way” about it when referring to Rush.

Because at some point fair or unfair the QB/ leader especially when they are taking up 20% of the roster financial resources has to rise above all that. Seven years in is past time.

19 mill this year..show me the 20% this year...you dont like him and that makes you bad at math?

Some people feel he is a solid backup capable of driving the bus.
Dak has been weighed, measured, and headed to life after the NFL
Dak has a long nfl career ahead of him and another big contract
Some fans really let their hate over shadow their every thought

I support Dak... but the only thing that hurts is when the Dallas Cowboys lose. Thats because I support every player wearing that star on their helmets.

Whats hilarious is the weak minded little people who only cheer for 51 or 52 players out of a 53 man squad. Make that make sense. If we cheer for the Cowboys, why are there weak people here that root against one or two players wearing that star???

I believe we are the only fanbase in the NFL that have backyard inbreds who cheer against their own players.
This happens more than you realize.. Take our arch-rivals the 49ers for example, Jimmy Garoppolo led them to an NFC Championship game last season and a Super Bowl appearance two seasons before that, yet the niner fans are divided regarding his true value and whether he can actually win the big game. BAD KARMA got them good when their highly touted "Upgrade" {Trey Lance} was injured and done for the season.. Now they are stuck with Jimmy G. for the foreseeable future lol. Karma is a B**** :muttley:

Your post is spot-on, and you make an excellent point about the fans that wants all of us to judge Rush with the same set of eyes that we judge Dak with. They need to get over the fact that Rush will probably never be a starting quality QB and he shouldn’t be judged like one. He certainly isn’t paid like a starting quality QB. When you look at the total salary cap hit by each QB, Cooper Rush is a deal. After looking at Dak’s performance over the last several games, I don’t think anybody in their right mind will label Dak as a “deal”. Don’t blame injuries. He wasn’t playing well when he was healthy.

I am on @Vtwin side of the debate, but I will admit that I told @TheMarathonContinues that I was mad at Dak for the 2017 season because Romo didn't get a chance to compete for the job.

Honestly, I wanted the Cowboy's to win, but Dak to be average. Petty fan crap and Romo was the last Cowboy I will ever be emotionally invested in. Stupid? Sure, but fans do stupid things sometimes.
Man there’s no shame in admitting it. I get it. These guys are acting like fandom doesn’t make you do crazy things. Only shame is lying and not admitting it. Romo put a lot of work in and I honestly wanted the story to have a happy ending so I get people wanting to see him get another shot. I just don’t think his body was gonna hold up.

We want you to gauge him the same way y’all did Dak when he was the lowest paid on the team and y’all were still on his ***. So now y’all want us to believe you guys just started doing this after he got his contract lol? Come on….

Wow, so...I see in another thread that you hope the Cowboys lose Monday Nights game. You are so transparent and so in love with Dak that you root against the Cowboys this coming game. Pathetic and so is your post.
I rooted against the Cowboys?
