I simply responded to your comment and here you are trying to start something as usual. You can’t just take someone’s opinion and move on.
Not really sure what your issue is you keep saying what I do "usually" as if I have interactions with you. I typically don't. You got in your feelings about something I said and held you accountable and now you won't let it go. No one is arguing with you about your opinion on Rush. It wasn't even necessary to even state lol.

Thing is, nothing is going to change those facts so why hate Dak? He's here for at least a few more years so why not support him and hope for the best? Go Cowboys
I think they think the more they complain the quicker he'll leave but he's not going anywhere especially in favor of Rush.

You just proved my point you can’t just simply move on you keep trying to create arguments. Lol You’re too much of a waste of time, not bothering with you anymore.

Dumb argument but the talk is starting … media will pick up on it too.

Actually they laugh at the idea on ESPN. The media isnt that stupid. Unless Coop is putting up like 3TD's and 200/300 yard games.

Honestly, hard to not like Rush.

  • Makes quick decisions typically and gets rid of the ball. (even if he makes a wrong decisions, he makes the decision lol)
  • Seems to read defenses well.
  • Seems to play way above his contract.
  • Not afraid to stand in the pocket and take the hit, to get the throw off. (Guys making way more than him won't do it)
  • Honestly he has thrown some dimes. (And some pennies)

Physically, he is about 40x downgrade to Dak. (So is Tom Brady though lol)

Mentally, he seems like a 40x upgrade to Dak.

I will take the smarter QB over the more physical one.
Brady has proved that to everyone over the years.

(No I am not saying Rush is like Brady, and everyone reading this knows I am not saying that lol)

I'm not gonna say Cooper is better than Dak...but he's outplayed the Hell out of him so far this season. This game against the Giants he was really good. I don't recall him making a single mistake.

I just wonder what he would play like if he had played a lot with the starters etc. He may also be a good QB that is just late at becoming good.
People hated him for his play in preseason games. Like I was saying before we never really got to seem him play with starters but once.

He isn't what you expect Dallas to have as the QB, but maybe he just meshes well with people. Honestly hoping Dak is out for at least another 5 games so
we can see what he is really like as he gets more comfortable.

If he could play consistent like this... we could probably get a lot more talent on this team, if we could dump Zeke's contract, and trade Dak.

But who knows... maybe Rush will completely implode, or his willingness to take the hits in the pocket, may be his undoing.

I keep reading this type of comments, seems it was not clear to many that Dak's contract has a NO TRADE clause on it. Why people keep saying "trade Dak" ? The cost of the contract was offensive but accepting the "no trade" clause was the stuppidity of Jones at its best.

Yeah, actually I forgot about that damn clause.

Well if Prescott is left out and officially humiliated as the backup to a practice squad quarterback with the fans already booing him and throwing trash at him, then given he would be paid regardless - why would he want to stay? Surely any competititor would want to start as the QB? If he would insist upon staying even though there was no way back to start apart from injury then that would surely make him a loser contrary to his supposed intangibles.

Bottom line is the best player starts. Dak is the best player by far.

He won’t be a full-time starter here and you can book it! He’ll remain a career backup no matter where he goes. His numbers are too modest and it’s hard to generate a lot of offense with him. Not going waste my time arguing about it so don’t bother. Lol

3 NFL starts. That's it. No one, including you, has the slightest clue what he may or may not develop into, so quit making these assumptions based off of such a tiny sample. Did you make the same assumptions about Dak when he went 2-1 to start his career back in 2016?

Rush has nothing but pre season games on his resume and you label him as a career backup based off of just that. I bet you would make a great supervisor - labeling your employees in the first 2 hours of their careers.

Do you really think Jerry is gonna sit 40 mil when 40 mil is ready to go lol?

We haven’t beat anyone yet we’ve taken advantage of piss poor lines . Done our jobs

I do think cooper reads the field better though but his arm strength concerns me

if he can beat LA on the road we may have something but even then Jerry ain’t caving and y’all gonna be frustrated
