I really think he gets greedy and goes for deeper passes. How many times do you see him throwing a harder deeper throw when there is a guy about 7-10 yards standing wide open. He admitted one year that he and Moore try to get greedy. Right now Moore is calling a 2016 playbook. Shorter passes and stick with the run. Move the chains.

Deeper passes?

He’s been check down Charlie

You are assuming everyone agrees with you that Dak is Average.

Being a consensus top 10 qb is not average.

Doing what he has done on the field, any way you look at it, is not average.
Hi Ken !
If you look over my past post I use the term good/average in describing Dak's performance.
I do feel in the past he been an overall good player, just very inconsistent.
I had high hopes for him coming into this season.
After the Tampa disaster, I just can't live with the up and down games.
If you feel differently, I respect your opinion.
Thanks, John

Not really, would prefer no QB controversy ever during the course of a season, but it happens.

if Dak was ok who would you start next week?
if Dak plays poorly again who would you start week after

i dont like qb battles when they are all playing bad ( Matt Cassell days) but if Rush keeps playing this well and Dak keeps looking lost I have no problem with it

Are you under the impression that all qbs play great week in and week out?

Because they don't.

Even the consensus elite qb's have clunkers.

Dak's been pressing and he's overthinking trying to live up to this big time QB label. Dak has turned into a celebrity QB, you know, the one Big Tuna warned against. Pressure bust pipes or create diamonds...it's put up or shut up..no mo talk.

Of course they do. But do they have trouble beating the good teams on a consistent basis like Dak does? Talking about what you plan to do from the sidelines and then failing to back it up on the field doesn't help. Dak created a trend for himself that is going to be difficult to overcome.

Stop talking the talk if you can't walk the walk.

I don't expect Dak to be perfect.
But I do want us to win in the post season.
So far Dak has really tended to struggle against the better teams.
As you face good teams in the playoffs I don't see a future for Dak here.

This one of the learning opportunities Dak has, and what Steve Young was alluding to when he talked about being on the sideline.

The defence will give you looks based on your tendencies they see on tape. Sometimes you have to watch lots of tape, of yourself, and see how you audibled into a bad result. Then learn to trust the team, trust the call, and not get too cute.

As fans we do have to consider that part of the reason why Rush is having success is he is not Dak with Dak tendencies.

Dak benefited from this a great deal in 2016. Defenses defended the Cowboys based on the Romo offense which opened up the middle for Dak and Beasley.

Do they have teams that commit a million penalties, have defenses that decide to not stop the run or have offenses that are horribly schemed?

I mean ..everyone who bashes Dak defends guys like Herbert or Carr who have never done anything.

Well, it looks like the team is getting some of those resolved, so when Dak does come back we will see if the team improvement will help him improve as well, however, not counting on it, but if it means success for Dak it means success for the team.

It we fall on hard times again, it’s coming! The pretend GM will do anything to keep the boys out front with the media.

That's what JJ said, if they are talking about the Cowboys that is all that matters to him, to hell with winning, just make that money.
