Can Rush give us 1 more win against Washington?

The Washington Commanders, hate that name, are similar to the Giants, but are more talented.

They have legitimate skill players that can hurt the Cowboys, but their OL might be worse then what we just faced the last two weeks, especially if Wentz keeps on holding the football. Gibson has hurt us on the ground in the past. Outside receivers are very good.

Defensively they still have a formidable front even without Chase Young. Running might be tough sledding, especially early on. Their corners are better then what we just faced, but still very beatable.

I would hope he can, and believe he will. And i feel Dallas has a better chance of beating the Rams and Eagles with Rush because he is in a groove and the team is responding. With Dak coming off an injury and rusty...it is asking too much to be in full throttle. Makes it even tougher. But we will see obviously.

All indications, Dak returns next week, if not the following week at the latest.

I think the Cowboys can win this one. Washington might be more talented than the Giants, but not at QB. Yeah, I said it, Jones is better than Wentz. He got sacked 9 times against the Eagles. It's not getting any easier for him this week.

They are definitely not more talented then the Bengals,and we took them down..I think we blow the skins out..imo

Washington were missing both starting DE's and a few other players against the Eagles. They get those guys back this week. May not be as easy of a game as many think.
I still think we are the better overall team though.

True, we still have backup QB we are not scoring a lot of points, right now Cowboys sure as hell can't take Washington for granted personally I don't think they will.

Cowboy doctors are usually very conservative, Dak won't be back until they clear him. He had a clean break, which made his recovery time much less then if they needed to put pins in.

As soon as Dak gets cleared he is going to play. They must use a similar scheme when he returns and don't put it all on his arm.

I think we will move the ball pretty well, but I alos belive special teams and our defense provides us point in this game. I think we put 31 pts on them.

That's a big # for a backup QB lead team, Cooper has been giving us about 20 each week. If he reaches that again, we have an excellent chance to succeed.

Washington might have the most talented team in the East player wise. Chase is as talented as Parsons, they really miss him. Their front seven on paper is scary. Solid secondary. Good running backs and receivers. Horrible offensive line though. We have to punish that weakness.

I hate to say that in the past this is the type of game that we lose. Just coming off a winning streak and facing a seemingly inferior opponent, I hope we don't let our guard down. I think if we do lose though, it won't be because of Rush. It's a division rival though so I don't think we relax at all.

Haven’t really done that in the McCarthy era though, that was a classic Garrett era thing.

With McCarthy we beat up on bad/ok teams but don’t get enough wins verses the good teams.

It's not like the players or coaches read this board.. I wouldn't worry about what this group of fools say. Even if they are attending the game their only chance to affect the outcome will be to scream like a banshee at the appropriate times.. Other than that? Meh.. Even without its starting QB the Cowboys are the better team. The Ratscums have not beaten them with Dak playing QB since what? 2018? Or was that phantom penalty that cost us the game winning FG game in 2019? Either way, the Ratscums needed a Dak meltdown just to make the game look cosmetically close last year after going down 24-0. They're just not as good as the Cowboys if the Cowboys play their game. That's the long and the short of it. Now that we have tight ends who will actually block and a QB who DOESN'T think every play should be a pass play and throw in a defense that gets personally offended if you score, this team is going to be hard pressed to be found looking up at anybody.

I have seen all the Commander games. Frankly they ain't shown much. They have really good wide outs and a good tight end, but their O line is still quite weak. They have a pretty good D line, but the second layer is pretty bad as is their safeties. We should win, but Wentz gives them a punchers chance because when he's hot he can really be hot. Conversely like Dak he will give the other side two or three opportunities to make interceptions by making bad throws or even worse making the wrong read. He doesn't have the ability to go through his progressions quickly. He does have an absolute canon for an arm. Weather may be a factor. Could be pretty wet.

I believe we have the toughest and most confident team in the East. The Cowboys believe the Division is ours until someone can take it. I still think the Eagles are a gimmick offensively. Good defense though and that will get you in the playoffs.
