Yet it was Rush that checked out of a pass play seeing the Giants blitz look and optioned to a Pollard run which netted a first down.....sounds like understanding to me.

well Ive heard both sides this week. One from Mccarthy saying they dont change the offense for the 2 and one from i cant remember who it was saying they have simplified some things. regardless we won.

Many are denouncing Rush's success so far as having played "inferior teams". So does the same apply to Dak? If so don't count Dak's career 25-6 record against the NFC East given those teams sucked for years and instead judge Dak on all other games where Dak is 28-27.

Regardless, Rush is succeeding and in turn Dallas is succeeding.
That's literally one of the main talking points against Prescott, lol.
You keep counting a team stat to trash Prescott. Cherry picked.

When are the anti-Dakers gonna see this is a team sport?

The only thing really going on is Dallas lost to a better team with a great defense and a star WR who made just enough plays. Then Dallas won two games against subpar opponents with some real issues on the OL and underperforming defenses. I don’t think for a second that swapping out the QBs would have changed any outcomes. Further, I believe either QB should be able to do enough to beat the Commanders if our defense shows up, and neither QB has the weapons or roster to defeat the Eagles.

This could be true, I do think the O-line is better than expected as they are getting better each game, again i get wanting an upgrade at QB. If this team can play like the 2016 offense with Dak and the defense is better Which it is...we may have somehting we all want ...solid QB play off the run game and stout defense, thats wins come playoff time. Again supe happy QB2 has done his job, but in this style offense when you can start throwing roll outs and sideline passes again ( Rush just cant) its gets better.

Even when Dak come's back I fear another injury. For whatever reason, its seems like he's in that mode of being hurt a lot and frequently. Rush will at some point be coming in again to pinch hit.

No, I am simply pointing out to those that use Dak's wins/losses and the supposed weak opponents Rush has faced their own talking points.

Not a consideration at this point. If Rush should beat the Rams and Eagles? Then circumstances might change.
If Cooper beats the Rams and Eagles.....and his play is commendable or just respectable......the circumstance should be to keep him in. Nobody should have a problem with that.
His play should determine regardless of the win/loss......play well but a miscue or two from someone else or D gets lit up......shouldn't fall on Cooper, just as it shouldn't for Dak.
But if the miscues are on him........then it becomes "thanks Cooper, you've done well, but".......that would be the circumstance.

Under no circumstance will the Cowboys sit Dak for Rush. They may delay his return for a week or two, but talking about replacing him with Rush, is ridiculous. How dumb would that make the Jones look? They care more about saving face than winning.
Less than zero

Currently the economics of all of this support Dak being the starter. I do think that Dak is a better quarterback, is a leader of this team and has value.

If Rush continues to play as well as he has economics might play into it in reverse. If you have two comparable quarterbacks and one is getting literally 30 times more money it would be tough not to go with the cheaper option to further strengthen your roster or retain talent.

At the end of the day we are fortunate that we have Rush and he has played as well as he has.

Those economics will change the very next season when Rush’s agent asks for $30 mil/per. This economics argument is good for what 7 months?

they do see it as a team sport, when we win its the team. however, when we lose its Dak losing the game or his inability to win. its that simple

Istn that your Dak mantra? The he stat bads and beats bad teams? Rush is barely beating marginal teams and miraculously all of a sudden the opponents dont matter to you.

In grammatical English please. Thank you sir.
