LOL........."LIKELY" was the term I used.

For me to be right, all Dak has to do is outperform the dismal 20 points per week Rush is averaging.

Is it Dak's fault that you don't understand how OLine play affects the run game and the passing game?

What the hell is wrong with Rush? He is playing marginal teams with a power run game and a shut down defense. And all he can do is score 20 points per game? Dak would be blowing out these teams like he was doing the first 8 games of last year. 7-1
In fairness to Rush, I’ll say the same thing I’ll say for Dak. All that matters is winning. If either QB is the reason we lose a game because he plays awful, turns the ball over, repeatedly misses open receivers on 3rd down, etc, then they deserve criticism. If they play within the scheme, don’t turn the ball over, don’t take unnecessary risks when the defense is dominating and the run game is there, and they lead enough drives to win games, I won’t be the one picking their games apart or demanding perfection and 40 points?

All I care about is winning. There is no doubt that we are less talented at the WR position this year, and if we have a game where the OL can’t get the run game going, struggles to pass protect, commits penalties (like the TB game), I’m not expecting either QB to somehow will us to victory. If that was what should happen, then KC, Buffalo, and SD would not have lost last week. Help us win, lead us to enough points, and don’t be the reason we lose or give the opponents extra possessions.

Well Parsons wants to win badly... So maybe if Dak comes back and screws up... he will just take him out in practice. :lmao::laugh::lmao2:

He said no.

You just want him to say something different.
Who cares what he says now.

The same question/answer was likely posed/given to/by him when Dak was helping lead teams to victory and Romo was on the bench injured. Jerry is simply not a good football guy, and that's why he and his red-headed stepchild kept Dak as the starter while they had the more talented, experienced, and far more expensive option in Romo fully healed and ready to go. The same sense of judgement should apply here if Rush keeps winning, shouldn't it?

Jerry doesn't know how to assess why the team is winning or losing or what the best options for the former are at all. He's just the boss/owner, signs the very expensive checks, and so everyone has to indulge him.

Stats and points matter when the poster says the QB was bad the past 7-8 games when it’s not true. What else would one look at? I seriously doubt that the QB lost confidence after game one, no matter how he played. The future will tell all, but when we play the physical teams that beat us in the trenches and our weaker wr corps can’t get open, it won’t matter who’s playing QB unless it’s Lamar Jackson.
So last season he plays well enough to win the last few games against poor competition then comes SF and playoff game. He was lost. His head wasn’t in the game...no denying that. He repped nothing.
Then he talks the talk all off season...best ever everything. I’m more ready than ever.....
Huge game. The new Daks coming out!!!!!
So what happens? He lays one of the biggest eggs ever.
The vattos head ain’t into it. He’s become another overpaid prima donna that’s become way to impressed with himself. Jmo

Dak better stay healthy and play smart and within the system like Rush is doing.

The goodwill is GONE. He has too much to prove and is being paid far too much to post mediocre results and fail to win games when it’s clear all that is needed at QB is a leader that can efficiently distribute the ball while leaning on the running game.

If Dak comes back and tries to put it all on his arm to “prove his value” he likely loses us some winnable games and further alienates and divides the media and fanbase.

Play smart Prescott. Make it about the team, not your need to appear elite. Just win games and everything else will fall into place
Hawk is back with the superb post!
Outstanding!!!

Kill…kill..kill…incomplete pass

No!!! Rush has been playing very well lately. Yes he's had some incomplete passes but the majority of them are caught. The boy is balling his *** off right now!!

I don't know what games you were watching.....

You call 12-5 a mediocre season, remember the defense always choked in the playoffs and got ran over.

Can it wait until we Cooper against Rams or Eagles. You don't get a Neighborhood reputation beating up the little brother.
Just a few weeks ago people were clamoring to throw the season. I'll be thrilled to beat up little brother instead of that.

for supposedly being a Cowboys fan, you sure do sound miserable that we’re winning without Dak. You’re anti-Rush, yet you claim I am a hater. You’re delusional

Anti Rush? No, Im nothing like you.

I love what Rush is doing. Just laughing at you types trying to make him out to be better than Dak.

Cowboys are winning because of the defense for the most part. Rush is driving the bus while the Oline is playing well and the run game is working. But thats all he is doing is driving the bus. All things that no doubt you would be pointing out if it was Dak in these last two wins.

Rush is seeing and making passes that the other quarterback won't. Not sure if it's because he doesn't see them or if he's scared to try them.

Since 2016, Dak has led Dallas to a 18-25 W/L record vs teams with a winning record.

You can’t put it all on the defense. Not when there have been many slow, flat, sloppy starts to games which have led to Dak trying desperately to lead a mad second half scramble to try and win games late.

He has been a GREAT QB vs poor teams, and he has been MEDIOCRE at best vs quality opponents.

If we are going to compete at the highest levels, we need better, more consistent play from 4 in the biggest games.
