Well he keeps getting worse actually. Nothing blind about it. My takes are spot on and Zeke. Poor little YOU simply cant handle the fact I've nailed it yet again. Poor guy. Wave bye bye to your hero. This will be his final year in Dallas.

On the other hand................Dak is coming back soon and will make you and your boy Rush look like the backup he is.

Lets just look at how laughable of a fan you are. You LOVE Zeke who is an overpaid has been. And you hate Dak who leads the #1 offense in the NFL and is a consensus top 10 QB. LOL

My god, will you EVER get anything right? :lmao::lmao2::lmao:
I don't love or hate any of our players. I live in the grey zone.

what about pollards burst 1st game and this game under 2.) YPC what now?? where it go it Comes and goes , why? yup OL Play and OL Calls plus the level of DL you play.

not an opinion its obvious. yes Pollards quicker with more burst but Zeke still been doing zeke things when given some actual holes.

Some of these people are okay with a guy getting single digit yards in multiple games as long as they get one highlight run every 2-3 weeks. As I have been saying for the last three years.. those big plays are great but you can't build your offense around it if they don't come with any regularity. When you're not getting big runs you have be able to consistently grind out 2-3 tough yards even when there's no blocking. Jonathan Allen led Washington in tackles yesterday.. He had 4 tackles for loss. Clearly he kicked our offensive line in the arse.

And next up Aaron Donald..
Get Ready!!!

Yeah the whole "you have to love a player to root for him to do well" is apparently something they do in the schoolyards these days. Apparently just because he plays for your favorite team is no longer enough to root for him if you "love him" nor root against him if you "hate him." It's a weird world man..

Just face facts. Your hero Zeke has problems distinguishing himself from Pollard that is a career backup. LOL

Your stuck bragging about doing better than a career backup? And the laughable part is that your hero got 19 carries and was counted on as the lead dog getting 18 million per year and he still sucked it up. LOL 48 yards on 19 carries? :lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao:

Not to mention Pollard is still leading the team in ypc even after yesterday.

The whole "pollard should be the guy over zeke" argument reminds me alot of the "hambrick should be the guy over emmitt" argument. Then when hambrick got his wish, he stunk. We are better with the two back approach right now.

All this blathering on this thread about Pollard you would think Zeke went off for 150+ yards.

Nope.

19 carries
2.6 YPC

“Oh, but those tough yards tho!!!”

Hopefully they decide on ONE LG no rotation's needed , maybe Peters is the starter going forward, should be in game shape now and know our line calls. hes battled the east and teams like Rams his entire career.

I understood trying to work in peters with Mcgovern out and Farniok doing enough BUT Now its time to choose and Peters is my choice. Settle down the Line and start building cohesiveness.,

Only true losers root against players on game day. But you have to admit its maddening watching some 18 million dollar has been get 48 yards on 19 carries. Were you impressed?

So when exactly is Zeke going to start proving me wrong? Or start proving you right? You cant possibly think Zeke is a top 5 back anymore.

Where is your hero now on the list of backs? Is he still in the top 10 for you? Top 20? I'm willing to bet you cant even answer that question and will tip toe around it completely.

The one year he has a chance to get good or great l g play, Tyron gets hurt. And they wonder why his ypc dropped. Salute to him for getting yards despite not having holes to run through. Mark my words, if Tyler plays guard, this run game will be transformed.
I feel like Zeke never hits the right hole. Even in the open field he has an uncanny way of running into the one guy that can get him. Almost like a magnet. Does anyone else notice this. It’s weird. He runs into contact.

Oh 100%. He has been doing it for years. At some point in every run he just accepts his fate and dives into the middle.

"Poor Zeke" @ $14 million per season?! Tyron hurt, his numbers dropped. The "run game" is just fine with Pollard. Enough with those excuses already w/that guy.

~Can't wait till he's outta here next season

It wouldn’t. He has the ability to take our run have to another level. Why let him be a good tackle when he can be a hall of fame guard? The last time we had 2 hall of fame guards was the 90s. Peters is a good tackle. Tyron’s better.

And maybe if they keep Smith next year, they move him back to LG. But for now, the OL is kind of working with him at LT. Put Peters at LG. It works. Don't mess with it.

You guys always overthink things and make it too complicated. The OL isn't going to be that much better if you flip Smith and Peters.

He kind of does. Have you seen Pollards runs when he spells Zeke.

I don't care if Peters plays LG or LT, just let him play. We got to see our backup center and a guard so bad he couldnt beat out Conor Williams last year while Peters sits on the bench.

You are missing the point. We are paying Elliott the highest contract for a TB because he's supposed to be elite, a game changer, a guy that makes everyone around him better.

So when you come to the board and say, "Gee, poor Zeke, he needs better LG play to be effective," what you are saying is that it's downright idiotic that we are paying a TB what we are paying Zeke.

Or defenses know Zeke is only effective between the tackles he no longer has the speed to reach outside
Plus kellen's play calling is totally predictable

The run blocking stinks.

Just put Peters at LG and roll with it. I think we've learned that McGovern isn't that good. I had high hopes for him but he's just never going to be that really good LG.

I have said for three years that typically when teams are stopping Zeke they are stopping Pollard too.. There have been very few games when Pollard has had a great when Zeke got < 2 ypc. On the other hand we have already had a game this season when Pollard has been under 2 ypc and Zeke was over 5. Neither guy was going to do much yesterday with the offensive line losing the line of scrimmage as badly as they did. The coaching staff obviously didn't want to keep letting Pollard lose big chunks of yardage waiting for his one big run so they settled for Zeke's reliable 2-3 yards because that kept the defense honest for the passing game.. That's winning football.. It may not be sexy and it may not silence internet morons.. but it wins.. I'll take it..

Zeke displayed plenty of burst on that 31 yard catch and run yesterday. I think he still has it but is more judicious in using it now. Which is smart.. as you get older your recovery time elongates so you can't go emptying the tack on every run. I said in the preseason that it was going to be hard for Zeke to change his mindset when running the ball.. WHen he came into the league he hit every run at 100 mph without regard to anything.. Then for the next four years he had "slow down, be patient and let the play develop" hammered into him.. Problem is, now that patience is his enemy because of all the leakage along the front line so he needs to get back to that guy who hit every run at 100 mph. But speaking from experience, that's not an easy thing to do.

LOL.

So you are saying he only runs fast now when he wants to because he's trying to save his energy?
