When they showed the play from the pocket you see Rush throw the ball right before CeeDee makes his last cut. Before he was open and there was separation. Actually threw the ball the direction CeeDee was not running yet.

Dak would have held the ball a little longer and threw the ball after the last cut when you could see CeeDee open.

Both would have been a TD cause he was so open but in different situations that timing makes all the difference

Romo was showing replays against Bengals where Rush would throw the ball before the cuts to where the receiver will end up. Its actually pretty impressive with the little amount of playing time. He would only get better with more experience. Dak is at his celling. He isnt getting better. And thats not a cut on Dak because he is pretty good and has more arm strength than Rush. But if Dak isnt doing this by now he never will. Remember 3 or 4 years ago it was about getting Dak friendly players. He needs to see the separation.

It's called being NFL open. A half step or full step of separation "before" the last cut is made. Some QBs throw with the required confidence, anticipation, timing and accuracy required. Some don't.

A former slot receiver for the Cowboys now with Bucs said publicly he was NFL open plenty but did not receive the throws. Thus, he was cut.

And one thing I noticed was most of cooper's passes hit the receiver in stride, which is huge for yac.

He was cut?

No. That is not what happened.

Beasley had a very good final year with Dak at QB. It earned him a big 3rd contract.

Your take is factually unsupportable.

True, not re-signed when he should have been. I stand corrected there.
Same as the Browns WR1 whose contract should have been re-negotiated and him kept.
Not re-signed again.

Both still should have been kept and both said publicly about lack of targets.

There's a pattern.

Not factually debateable.

That's a bingo!

This is a very biased take with no basis in reality.

Dak has thrown many many great passes throughout the years.

I agree.
During the Bengals game I stated that, IMO Rush sees the fields better and quicker than Dak.
.
Maybe sometimes when Dak surveys the field he sees chaos.
When Rush surveys the field he sees a play unfolding....until he's dodging bodies coming at him.

As much as I want to agree with this, one just does not truly KNOW man. It's a biased assumption upon past knowledge, yet he's made throws like that before so it's a weird statement lol

He actually was making some anticipatory throws like this early last season, but then he reverted. So he has the ability, he just doesn't seem to have the confidence, whether in himself or in his receivers.
