Wow, what a perfect storm. If Dak goes 0-2 the henchmen will want his head. Dak is better than Rush.

By how much is debatable, but he just is. Is Dak a 40 Mil a year QB? Hell no!

He can beat the Lions and the Bears.

This defense is the 'KEY" to where the cowboys will untimely end up.

It's going to be 5-3 or 6-2. Book it!

If we go 0-2 with Dak it will be because the offensive line has reverted back to being a sieve, if that happens it won't matter who's at the QB position.
Maybe....if Dak comes back and the supporting cast starts to play poorly that would be one of the best arguments to go back to Rush. Cooper Rush doesn't have half the physical gifts Dak has, but he has been phenomenal at getting the offense in the right play, getting the ball out, and avoiding mistakes. The why behind guys not performing as well once Dak comes back will be crucial. If we see this team revert back to consistently killing plays, Dak holding onto the ball too long, etc. that basically is the argument for Rush. Now if we see a Zach Martin get banged up, Tyler Smith start to simply not play well, etc that is a different story.

The theme to this year's team success will be the loyalty shown to SleepNumber.

"To Die on Prescott Hill with his erratic pass happy play."

OR miraculously...

"Prescott leans on stout defense and running game to post season success."

One or the other will likely be the headlines. No in between.

Dak shouldn't have the opportunity to get right.

If he's not good out of the gates then bench him.

There is no reason to waste the season hoping for Dak to become something he's not.

Dak will be the QB for the next 2 or more seasons for better or worse. The biggest reason they'll move on from him is going to be the fact he can't stay on the field at this point IMO. The owners love Prescott just like they do Zeke.

Appreciate the jest, but he is more than that.

History tells us that it's usually an injury that creates offensive line issues, not any lack of motivation due to player politics.

LOL, funny how these people already making excuses for Dak's failure. For that we agree, i would be concerned too. if he goes 0-2, it is on him. Just like if Rush loses, you will pin it on him. So live with it.

Agreed, but one thing to make clear is I'm not suggesting anyone is playing politics. I'm saying Dak's style has been a bit of the issue the last several games. Any I don't want that to come across as a straight dig on Dak, it may be partially due to Kellen Moore and other factors as well. We know for certain that Dak is capable of a very high ceiling, but ever since the Patriots game last year he has been very up and down. When he has been down the offense becomes very pass heavy, and Dak has been hesitant to get rid of the ball often. Both are fixable issues....at least I think. The key is that these are issues that have to be corrected with Dak at QB or else your Oline will suffer.

Not sure why this keeps coming up. He was the next in line to get paid and the next one always gets more than the previous one. That is just the way it works. Doesn't mean it's right. It's just the way it is.

Easy answer. In our society, a person is expected to produce in relation to their salary. Dak insisted on a top salary and has not produced relative to that number. As long as that is the case, he will receive much criticism. It's just the way it works!!!!!

Pretty sure Zeke is gone after this season.

They could have gotten rid of him before the March deadline THIS season. They love Zeke and there is no guarantee he is gone next year either. Wouldn't shock me at all if they kept him or even extended him. No one should be surprised if it happens.
