This will be a better question reality after the rams game.
One thing about rush, he has been consistent, and that is something dak hasnt been since 2016.

I chose rush, because he is the better qb so far in 2022.

Dak could only get 3 points up in the first game and lost,
Rush is 3-0 and doesnt put up a lot of points, but is consistent in putting up around 20-23 points.
He is consistent in all areas.
The reason I make these polls is because I think it is interesting for everyone to see how overall fan viewpoints change as the season progresses.

I plan to keep posting this poll every week going forward.

Dak is the starter. This is not the same as Dak vs. Tony situation.

We all knew Romo was going to be out for more than half the season. By the time he was truly ready to return, Dak had us on the verge of clinching a playoff spot.

This time the time line for the QB is much less, he was not on IR. It was always going to be 3 to 5 games missed.

As long as Dak can get back to form, far and away it's Dak. But if Dak can't get right and looks like he did against SF or TB this year then Rush will have to step back in. I think that's the only fair and logical assessment. Everyone leaning to one extreme or another are either idiots or have narratives they've been pushing that they jump at every little chance to try and validate.
What exactly is Dak’s “form?” One playoff win?

C: neither.
But if I had to pick I'd say Rush just because it's fun to read all the Dak supporters trying to defend their QB against an unknown, undrafted QB no other team even wanted.....botton line is Rush is not anything special but neither is Dak.

Multiple Pro-Bowls, a winning record, multiple NFC East titles with a sub-par defense, and the pin-point accuracy he showed through the NE game last year. There's certainly been something wrong with him since the calf injury last year, he hasn't played up to his contract, and he has alot to prove when he does return, but to act like he hasn't had several stretches of elite QB play is completely disingenuous and takes away all credibility from an argument. Dak has been the reason we've won many games. Rush has played well for a backup but has been the reason we didn't lose more than the reason we won.

Bottom Line.......At this point I really don't give a @#$% who the Cowboys quarterback is as long as they keep winning.

Yeah other than 2016 the defenses have been bad.
That defense sucked too. The difference was the ball control offense, facilitated by the all world o-line and league leading rushing game. Much like 2014.

Once Dak's rookie shine wore off and defenses adjusted, the defense could no longer be protected by the ball control offense and Dak couldn't make the opposition pay with the passing game. A couple spurts of success here and there not withstanding, until of course defenses adjusted and we ran out of bottom feeders to beat up on.

We’ll have to agree to disagree. Our measurements of a good-great pro QB are not the same. The only reason Dak was drafted was the system he was in at Ms St. Lots of runs mixed in with the pass. If Dak ain’t runnin…we ain’t winning. His brain does not process fast enough at the pro level. That’s if your definition of winning is advancing in the playoffs and going to SBs. Nearly forgot..the pro bowl is a joke.
