Trade him for a 5th-7th? Doesn’t matter what the return is. He’s worthless and been passed by.

No team has the cap space, and secondly probably don't want him. Browns have space, but have Njoku. Just keep Shultz but play the rookies more than they have. Make Shultz work to get his snaps.

I must say I'm shocked what a non-factor Schultz is without Dak. Granted he's been injured last few weeks, but he's either playing his way to a much smaller contract or not with the team.

Anti-Schultz experts can rejoice in 2022. When Dak gets back though, they may have to curb their excitement, lol.

Schultz isn’t 100% and playing with a backup QB isn’t helping him. Not a good situation for a TE looking for a big contract. Once Dak gets back into the lineup, assuming he gets his game back Schultz will pay dividends.

I would trade Schultz to some team looking for a pass catching TE. Schultz doesn't block well enough to play TE in the NFL. I've never seen a TE than can't block as well as a slot WR, but I'd rather have CeeDee blocking than Schultz.

Now that the Cowboys have a few nice rookie options that can block much better and still provide an option in the passing game, I'd attempt to get a 3rd or 4th round pick for Schultz.

His poor blocking has been overblown, but at this rate, I dont see us needing to pay him what he wants next year. Wouldnt trade him THIS year unless we are out of it.

In the Cowboys NEW and improved offense (AKA run-heavy), Schultz is not as involved in the passing game and I like it. Let's see if Dak can continue to build on that winning style instead of throwing it 40+ times and giving Schultz so many targets on those 5-yard checkdowns that the defenses want him to take.

Schultz is playing on the franchise tag. He will be a free agent after this season. He's been back two games and hasn't caught a pass.

And you think someone is going to trade a 3rd round pick for 12 games of Dalton Schultz?

Poor Shultz was looking for another stat padded garbage time year so he could cash in on a long term contract. Well that one year franchise is still a lot of dough
