They haven't had to put more on Rush to score because they sit on 2 score leads. They can play it safe. But Rush can throw it when he has to and he isn't scared to are it out deep. The reason you haven't seen 300 yard games is becasue they haven't needed it.

It’s not going to be that way all season, eventually we’re going to have to start scoring more points to win games. Sooner or later we’re going to give up 3 to 4 TDs in a game and it’s going take 28+ for us to win. It’s a very easy prediction to make because this is the NFL and we have a long way to go this season. The bottom line is we’re not going to get by with an anemic offense for much longer. We can’t depend on our defense to hold opponents under 20 points every week. I don’t see us beating Philly unless we show more offense than we have the past five games.

I prefer the dak method: score in the 1st qrt. and the 4th qtr.
The first one is borne of optimism. The 4th qtr. of desperation.

Getting Dak back is probably an extra 5-7 ppg improvement over Rush. That will get us to just over league average on the offensive side of the ball and with this defense, it will be enough.

With Dak we failed to score in 15 consecutive Quarters a TD(when Zeke was out for 6 games)....a new Cowboy record.
