I predict Dak will be Dak. If the momentum is going in the Cowboys favor, he will have some good stats. The Cowboys will win some easy games.
But Dak will still be Dak. If the momentum is against the Cowboys, Dak will struggle. There will be three-and-outs, errant passes, and opposing teams getting big leads. This is my prediction.
But, according to his fans:
Dak's return is set for a home game against the Lions, who have seen their hopes for a big season dashed by poor defense. So Dak should, by all accounts of his fans, have a great day, racking up big points and stats.
Then it's the Bears, who are also struggling. Dak should again, by all accounts from his fans, put up big numbers.
Then the bye week.
In the second half of the season, Dak's leadership should, by all accounts from his fans, lead the Cowboys to repeated big wins, regardless of who the Cowboys play. The Cowboys should roll through the playoffs, and their Super Bowl opponent should forfeit to avoid the embarrassment Dak will put them through.
Because after all, if Cooper Rush can beat 4 out of five of the toughest teams in the league, Dak should easily win out.

If Cooper Rush isn't good enough to be the starter, that's fine. I can live with that. But he's only had six games to learn, and he's won five of them.
Dak has had six years, and hasn't proved he should be it.
I think Rush is more accurate, and with this group of receivers, I think it gives him a big advantage.
Cooper Rush did not win games. By himself. It took the entire team. I know it will be the same for Prescott. But we will score touchdowns not just field goals. That’s going to be the difference. Put your hatred away for some of the team

The fans have nothing to do with Dak returning. The FO and the coach make that decision. Your disdain for Dak has no bearing on whether he returns or not.

Cooper has more credible wins in 4 games than Dak has in 4 years.
Beating Seattle in the playoffs and sweeping the division last year is no where close to beating better than the defense beating Cincy, giants, Washington and the Rams this year....... Wow

If you are picking based on performances from this year you have to pick rush. Bad rush still better than bad dak. But you know dak typically lights up bad teams and we have some coming up. Better hope yalls boy gets his stuff together quick cause if week 1 dak comes out sunday its going to be a madhouse.

Prescott has more primetime wins than any other quarterback since he’s been in the league. So I don’t know what you people are talking about
Beating both SB teams along with a dominant Giants team that's 5-1. Dak hasn't beaten 3 good teams in a row ever. Heck when's the last time Dak beat a team with a winning record.

So you down playing teams Dak beat but uplifting teams Rush (defense) beat.

You think Cincy and Rams are good teams this season? What about Washington?

With this defense Dak would have won 14 games last year. Rush is barely getting to 20 points and until the Philly game Sunday night this defense was averaging just over 14 points giving up..... Is the defense not get credit for the 4 wins this season or you think Rush and his 18 points a game is why they won 4 games

Depends on the coaching.

I don’t want KM calling for Dak to drop back 60 times just because he believes Dak is the better thrower of the football.

Dak bigger arm, high processing ability which is why he has a great TD to INT ratio, more mobile/run threat. Opens the field more, I trust him if we're down more.
Cooper Rush is an extremely cerebral QB with great reads, mechanics...but people need to understand. When a QB has a weak arm, it negates a lot of their intelligence because they tend to throw with more anticipation, or throw harder which leads to overthrows. So Ironically, he ends up making throws that to the average person seem stupid, but if you know why they do it you'll understand.

The real issue of our bad performances in the playoffs is the under performance of our offensive line and our defensive play early in games. That's it.
It's coaching. You know the sad part? The Cowboys could have overcame all of that and won if not for 14 penalties.
No. He has a good td int ratio because he wont take chances. Hed rather punt than take ints.
