With out pass rush, I am good going with Bland if Lewis is out. Run defense could definitely end up being our achilles
I'd prefer a vet there honestly unless they can convince me the only reason Lewis was ahead of him on the depth chart was because he's a vet. I like Bland....just not a fan of depending on rookies but i'm sure the Cowboys will go that route.

Not really impressed. Should have won today and the offense looked awful through a good part of the game. Need to step it up in the playoffs. The NFC is there for the taking.

Yeah. I'm sure, most of us, thought the cowboys were going to do a lot better against the Lions before the game. Who would've though the score would be 6-3 so far into the game?

I'm only replying to this to let you know that I'm done replying to you from here on out.

You told me all week that if Dak isn't at least 2 TDs better than Rush that you would criticize him and you have backed down from that.

You're dishonest and I won't waste my time conversing with you anymore.

:lmao2:
Wow...have you thought I have not had time yet to critique his performance.

But since you will not respond to me, I won't bother.

Yes, it does still need to improve. But getting TDs off of turnovers is a start.

Romo to Dez----we are not even 1/2 way through season...so those who make conclusions of teams throw out NFL history....how about 2011...Giants 6-6...end up 10-6 and win super bowl???????

Oh me too. I meant if Lewis is out. I saw he got hurt on that INT and didn't see if he got back in or not

- We still have receivers that are so so
- Tyler Smith had his worst game of the year…had this been his first, we’d be worried about bust
- Dak, like Rush, made 2 poor decisions that could have been picked, but for the most part threw the ball well with accuracy, and fans who blamed Dak for dropped passes and fumbles, sacks, penalties, and Moore’s play calls are simply stupid and frustrating
- Zeke showed why he is still very valuable despite being overpaid, which isn’t his fault
- Detroit, after their bye week, was much more physical than we were
- Quinn didn’t seem to have the answers to Detroit’s offense. They won the game, but we may have stopped them in the Redzone more often than we forced punts…not a recipe for success
- Kellen Moore is still the most frustrating Cowboy for me. How many years has he been the OC? How many head coaches has he worked with? Last year a great offense; this year a great defense….yet we are still questioning some of his stupid Redzone and short yardage play calls.

People who should know keep telling us that Moore is a genius, but is there another OC in the league who gets questioned for his philosophy and play calls as much as he does year after year? My main thought after this game is that Kellen did not learn much from winning with a lesser QB. Too much trickery like the option toss to Pollard when you need inches….Zeke? Sneak behind Zack? Yes, lean on the run game, but we had way too many 3&outs on the win streak with Rush. You can still lean on the run game and throw on first or second down now and again.

First offensive play of the game — Noah Brown should have caught it as he had both hands on it. Dak should have thrown it lower for an easy catch, but it’s typical, unexplainable Moore….your QB takes his first game snap in 6 weeks, and you roll him left to throw against his body for his first pass. No excuses, I just wonder if Moore thinks about anything other than X’s and O’s.

Motorola we are not even half way e season.....second half things turn around a lot in NFL history
That was what I was pointing out -- 10 games to -- Cowboys (or Giants) still could win NFC East if Eagles stumble. But 3-3 NFC teams lost today...more cushion for the top two wildcard spots for NYG and DAL if both keep tcb.
SEA @ Chargers, KC @ SF...two more 3-3 NFC teams could fall to 3-4.

Haha, you overrate yourself.
But at least your good for some humor - sometimes. Get that you feel your slapstick is always what everyone on here wants.
Sometimes it's funny - sometimes it's just old bro.
But go ahead, you do you.
