I hope he has the stamina because with this offense he will be on the field a long time .
He average 29+ snaps a game last season. He has played in 121 in 5 games this season which is a little over 30%.

Now his snaps decreased as based on scheme and they were playing Billings (187) and Vickers (159) and they really want Farrell to get snaps.

He was in a more shoot the gap scheme there as opposed to what he will be used at here.

Trouble was that Marinelli would never go for it. Crawford was his idea of a NT....and he wondered why we sucked on defence.

Crawford was never an NT. He was a 3-tech and defensive end. You may be trying to be facetious about the fact that Marinelli did prefer smaller, quicker players even at NT, which was one of the problems with his system.

It won't be Hill, he has been halfway decent. Not sure about Hankins...wanted him 3 to 4 years ago, have no idea what kind of player he is now.
Use him this week in special packages and use the bye to figure out a good rotation. It seems Gallimore is in the doghouse and some of the back end of the rotation DL should also be nervous.

Haha, that's crazy. Bought my first home in the park over 30 years ago, now live in the Wellington area.
Dang! Small world! I grew up on Runyon Court just across from Old Centerville and the Post office right behind Costello Park! Haven’t been back since around 2003

The key will be to use him as part of a rotation. If you just stick him in the game and leave him in, that big boy will tire and become easier to move. Keep his reps to a reasonable level and you’ll get Hankins playing at 100% effort, which is just about impossible to move.

Quinn will have him off the field in pass rushing situations and he’ll be in there on run downs.

It really is a good pickup… particularly taking in consideration how little the team is paying for him, both in draft capital and actual salary cap space.

Really good. Very nice mid season add.

He actually was a handful vs Dallas on Thanksgiving last year stuffing the run.

how can it hurt - have to get better against the run at some point. even if it just helps a little - its an improvement then

An okay trade, for sure.

Per usual, I get the player I want 5 years after I asked

They don't end up in the bin until then. You guys want to buy off the rack when we shop clearance.
