Jerry Jones: "Im still a risk taker"

This is actually pretty brazen for him to say. Normally they'll repeat the platitudes, because they have no intention of doing anything.

This sounds like they're willing to shell out a high pick for someone and they want us to be excited (because Jerry clearly is).

If I had to guess what he'd trade for, it'd be WR.

Then trade for someone GREAT at stopping the run. There's still time although not much

He's not lying.

It's positively risky to spend the last two decades thinking you know football as an owner and make yourself a GM.

Trading for Brown and signing OBJ would be huge and position us well for a playoff run.

Next, Jones spoke with a smaller group of reporters that included CowboysSI.com's Mike Fisher and got more specific, saying, "We don't have an area on our team that makes me desperate. But I'm willing to do it - and I'll give up future currency to get it done.''

And finally, Jones to Fish as the owner headed to his AT&T Stadium suite to celebrate: "We are evaluating the fit. I promise you I will pull the trigger (if the right deal presents itself). I've told you I'm still a wild-catter. I'm still a risk-taker.

Over/under Jerry panics in attempt to make "splash" and extends Zeke another 5 years/$120M?

The Cowboys sure could use a Mike Singletary type guy in the middle. But is there a guy out there available?

As for Wide Receivers, I'd trade the 6th round compensatory pick the Cowboys got for Cedrick Wilson in a heartbeat - to the Dolphins for Cedrick Wilson. When the Cowboys let him go, they were still trying to give Randy Gregory $70 million. Since Gregory is gone, go get Cedrick back. IMAO!!
