Cedric Wilson is the only name Ive heard so far. Just not sure Jerry will take on his contract, think it was 3 yrs at 24 or so. He wouldn't match Miami's offer to him and let him leave - would be weird for him to agree to pay it now.

The guaranteed part is about 9 mill total through 2023. Not the bad deal folks are making it out to be.

Its a sound strategy: Instead of spending a 1st on a player who has a 50/50 chance of panning out in 4 years, spend 2 firsts on a player who is great right now, only just entering their prime. Your last 2 firsts have worked out great, but that isn’t always the case. Would you rather have CeeDee Lamb + Taco Charlton as rookies or Davante Adams? LVE + Ezekiel Elliot or Darius Shaquille Leonard?

Also factor in that Zeke was a top 5 pick. Micah was the 12th overall pick. LAR is expecting these picks to be late 20’s or early 30’s.

Obviously downside is cap ramifications, but I guess they have that covered….
Definetely, I just don't get how they manage to fit all those salaries, I remember it cost us dearly after the nineties dinasty to keep paying big chunks of cap to retired players. These days teams seem to turn around and dump their losses and rebuild in 3 or 4 years, look at Philly. They keep fitting big salaries via trades, wouldn't surprise me if they end up getting Kamara later today. IDK what we are doing wrong or why we are not doing more.

Would be the biggest trade we have done in a long time and fixes multiple issues. He would make our corners better, our LBs better. All of it.
Agreed.

Would you be ok with giving up next year's 1st round pick, or would you offer something less like a 2nd and another late round picks?

For Derrick Brown? A first no question. There is no one in the upcoming draft that moves the needle like he does if we are picking from 25-32. Jalen Carter is going in the top ten. Unless they plan on moving up for him (which would cost more) make the move and bring in a stud for the interior DL.

They should be going all in this year. We need a run stuffing lb and a wideout. Do it Jerry

Other than some thinking the panthers are having a fire sale and us as fans wanting the player is there one report anywhere that says we are after Derrick brown?

Uh, they are running out of time.
In this age of videotelephony, 5 hours is the equivalent of two days in the previous century.
Don't be surprised if there are a number of trades get done from 3 to 4 pm EDT ( 2 to 3pm CDT).

He says after listening to Jerry he believes he's going to go for it and make a splash.

Beginning of the video.

Man I sure hope it isn't a receiver. The combination of Lamb-Gallup-Brown is actually more than adequate. If they're going to deal picks for a premium play it absolutely has to be a LB or DT.

many get mad without thinking that there is a limited salary cap, the cowboys cannot go for players in their last year of contract and that they expect to receive lucrative contracts, if they have let players go because they think they pay a lot for them, they do not go to get into more economic fights, more due to the contract they have with Dak.

What I see is that they are going to go for players like Denzel Mims, Jerry Jeudy, Elijah Moore, they are players who are on their rookie contract and who can have a 5-year option, these are viable options, that will not cost them much economically for at least 2 more years. I
am reading what they suggest to Derreck Brown? I do not know if he is available or they want to transfer him, but this is the type of player and ideal example for which you have to offer, he is in the same range, on a rookie contract and is still cheap for at least 2 more years, Dereck Brown It would be ideal but I doubt they want to transfer it, for me they go for a WR like the ones I name and a CB that this may be the surprise.
