My issue is was the play call from its inception at the time of the game

Dak deniers will point to the throw others will point to route CeeDee ran I just think it’s an unnecessary play call . Thankfully it only cost 3 and we won but it could have been a different tune

At some point y’all are gonna have to stop this. People on top of people who breakdown film all keep coming to the same conclusion that ceedee botched this route and if he had ran it correctly this play hits for a huge gainer. We coulda got 3 more points right before half. Ceedee needs to be better next time

I don't know about the playcall, but the execution on everybody's part stunk.
This should not be happening, again I ask what exactly does MM do?

Thats my issue with it too. Not a smart coaching decision.

And neither was calling that pass play late with the game well in hand. The one where your quarterback was sacked and could have been unnecessarily injured.

Either Big Mike or the Boy Wonder should answer for that.

Agreed! I get the battle of unpredictability that a OC has to deal with but some of his decisions and their timing are flat out stupid

like a jet sweep on 2nd and 1 and you get a 6 yard loss it just don’t make sense when you have zeke and Dak

the pass play you mentioned is another solid example

The offense had been red hot, not cold, so of course you try to get in FG position.
Kellen Moore, stay aggressive when you have the hot hand. Call a run or kneel down if we are struggling.
Dak, maybe you should have only thrown the ball if the receiver was all alone on the field, but I don’t care. It was 3 points in a game where the offense scored 42 points. Who cares about one INT before halftime. There will be other INTs during the season. That’s football.

Against better teams this will be a back breaker und could cost us a win.

With that being said, these things happen. You have to consider the context of this game. Dak was going very conservative throughout the whole first half, and they were very successful with it. All of sudden a potential game changer happens, and Dak gets greedy because he thinks he has to take back the momentum right away before half time. Probably Kellen thinking it too. That backfired awefully. Imo it's irrelevant for us fans who should take the blame here. Simply because it was a bad call from start to finish and they corrected their mistake right away. That's something for the coaches to analyze and draw the right conclusions from.

Right after the interception they went back to the conservative approach and sailed the game home smoothly. So despite that totally unnessecary play call and execution I see the good side here and assume, that they have learned their lesson for the next games too. Overall it was a very good game by the offense and Dak especially. Not because he filled the high light reel, but because they all played it calm and managed the game perfectly.

Yep totally agree, offense was moving the ball and got greedy with 40 seconds left.
