New headline soon: Dallas Cowboys were in on Odell Beckham Jr. but were outbid

Followed by another headline: Odell signs 1 year, 3 million dollar deal with Buffalo
Exactly right lol! I was going to say around $1.5 million with incentives lmao

I don’t like it but OBJ will be a Cowboy before Thanksgiving. Will play first game against the Colts. The Cowboys have the money and media attention that would give OBJ a big contract next season.

Hell, you could see this coming a mile away once the Cooks trade fell through. He probably going to come down his preference which I'm guessing will give him the most snaps. His priority will be to show teams he's healthy enough to still play at a high level for a quality 2023 contract. Remember we started three WRs last season ( Coop, Lamb and Gallup ) but this year it's Lamb, Gallup and ?......

OBJ will be looking to find his final team and will likely feel his pay rate is among the League's best. It will be interesting to see where he goes and what he terms are.

Jordan Ranaan in New York reported he could return there for a two year deal. Not sure if that has any legs to it

I understand past reputation, but two recent events carry more weight with me:
  1. He signed a very reasonable contract with the Rams last year, NOT coming off of ACL surgery
  2. By all accounts, he was great with the Rams and everyone loved him

Maybe the guy has matured? It happens.

For few games ok. Don't want him here long.

I'm afraid the old OBJ will show up at some point.

He turned 30 yesterday and has had a few injuries. He’s at the point teams aren’t beating the door down for his services.

I haven’t read anything negative about him since New York.

I’ve read a lot of positives.

I think he’s going to have some form of a ‘market’ for his services, but I don’t foresee the numbers getting outrageous. The Packers stand out to me in particular. They’re DESPERATE for receivers if they hope to do anything this season.

Incoming … “honest offer”, “we like our guys”, “didn’t want to rock the boat”, “our guys are just as talented”, “didn’t fit under the cap”

“we were really close, just couldn’t make the numbers work”. Translation= he wanted 2 years 30 mil and we offered league minimum for 1 year…
