Multiple things can be true at one time. Lamb should recognize that the safety is in the middle of the field and flatten out his route, no doubt about that. However, Dak should also see that they are playing a cover 2 robber-type scheme and move on to another read at the snap when the safety sits down in the middle of the field.

I don't think Dak is a "one read" QB but at times he seems to ignore the numbers and lock onto the wrong side of the field at the snap from what I have seen.
