Am I wrong about Hurts?

And for you Dak haters, that isn’t a good thing for us.

Dak a better thrower, Jalen a better runner but you can see the intangibles/leadership in Hurts that Dak has and had since beginning of career. He will keep them stable and in contention as long as he is there. Gonna be some big time future games against them going forward.

He's literally not. People forget just how bad Tebow was as a passer. Dude completed less than 48% of his throws in the NFL. That's 1950s stuff.

- yeh i'm seeing 'wishful thinking ' posts - they want Hurts to be bad and terrible for the sake of Cowboys bias...or they are flat misjudging what they
are seeing.

- Perhaps he Was a suspect passer coming into the NFL from Bama, ..but this new Philly staff has worked wonders leaps and bounds with Hurts.
Sumthin' even SB winning Doug Pederson could not do ...

- Add to that, Philly management are successfully adding pieces and weapons to support him on offense
i was laughing at Philly for collapse of Carson Wentz to the
drafting of Hurts to replace Wentz... but the laughs have come back on us hecklers .. Hurts is a legit NFL passer now.

- Not saying he's Mahomes, Burrows but he can hurt opposing NFL defenses with his passing .

- Hurts has become an above average passer now.
He's not a adept drop back pass machine and not placed in a position to do that

- Philly coaching are strategically using his full skill set with his mobile legs and run skills to complement his passing.
RPO's ... mis-directions, ..roll outs, ..play actions .... they are spreading the defenses and using the RPO's and mis direction to
gear their run game .. both with Hurts and the RBs like Miles Sanders .. and it's working.

- They've gradually upgraded their WR unit ala Devontae Smith, AJ Brown (after that disasterous laughable WR Jalen Reagor 1st rd pick)

You have to blitz Hurts so he can make a quick decision something hes not good at..dont know why teams don't

Because

A.) Eagles have a good O-Line & good WR’s on the outside in AJ Brown & DeVonta Smith, so if you blitz and don’t get there, their WR’s will definitely get open, and

B.) Hurts is really elusive. So even if you blitz and get there, he’s shown time and time again that he can elude the rush and make plays with his legs.

Eagles are tough to defend for this reason. That’s why they’re one of the best offenses in the league.

I don't get Cowboys fans disrespecting the eagles and acting like they are not a legit threat.
Their front office had a much better offseason than ours ( surprise ) and that's the difference.
Thanks Jerry.

Of course he is.
Anyone saying otherwise has lost their mind....at least in that regard.
Indeed. He just played a big part in the Eagles beating Rodgers and the Packers in a shoot out. The D conceded 33 points but the Eagles offense consistently put up points throughout the game totalling 40 points. Hurts is bang in the MVP conversation.

Dude is 10-1 this year.

This place would be going nuts if the Cowboys had that record and people were running down their QB.

To paraphrase Bill Parcells, "You are what your record says you are."

Until the Cowboys or someone else eliminates them from Superbowl contention, he's good enough.

He’s a shiny too. Tebow. He couldnt pass against us and used his legs and the runnings to score. He’s literally at the same level as a passer.

He is not Tebow and any Cowboy fan saying that is just a blind homer.

Tebow never sniffed a MVP or OPY. Hurts is one of the faves at this point for MVP or OPY.

Stop. Just stop.

Remember when moronic Cowboys fans said that Wentz was better than Dak? Remember when moronic Cowboys fans in the offseason said that Wentz was better than both Dak and Hurts?

Go cry in a corner.

I think the number of people here who said this past offseason that Wentz was better than Dak and Hurts could be counted on one hand.

yup, another invented strawman argument here. 3 to 5 peoples opinions gets spun into “most people” here, at times

he will be fine until he has a leg injury or ages. much more devastating against primarily running qb's. does not have a cannon like vick did.
