So, the 2 games we've lost with Dak this year you're saying that he played no part in those loses?
Dak was awful against Tampa.

Dak was good for most of the game against the Packers, but couldn't move the ball when it mattered most in OT. But he shouldn't have been in that position. He had the team in position to win up 28-14 mid-4th quarter and the defense choked.

You will never be able to appreciate......speaks volumes...those that don't like Dak are so entrenched in their opinion that they won't appreciate Dak even if he wins the Superbowl and MVP....
BTW...those that believe in Dak are probably just as bad on the opposite side.
I promise you my opinion of him would change. Heck, it wouldn't even take a Super Bowl win for it to change. All it would take is consistent play that goes deep into the playoffs. I don't believe in him because he's never given me a reason to believe in him.

You don't trust him to play well 4 games in a row against playoff teams, do you?

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

Here's an interesting one! Prescott is signed through 2024, and his 2023 salary of $31 million is fully guaranteed. His 2024 salary of $29 million is not guaranteed, nor is his 2024 roster bonus of $5 million (which comes with a March 2024 deadline). Dak is sure to be the Cowboys' starter for at least one more year after this one and probably much longer, as they'll likely look to extend him this offseason or next. But if things were to go wrong, the 2024 season is when the Cowboys would have a relatively easy out.

Moving on from Dak in the 2024 offseason would cost them no cash, and about $40 million in dead money cap charges for 2024. But Dak's only 29, and they love him there, so things would have to go very wrong for any of this to matter. Just pointing out that this extension, which feels so recent, was a short-term deal designed to get him to the market again sooner, or prompt a decision by Dallas on an extension in the next year or two.
Daks the QB for minimum 5 more years if not 10

To recover from his mistakes in the first. The point is. HE DID. He put the team on his back and won the game. And played lights out in the second half.

Or are you going to say he didnt.
I like my QBs not putting the team in bad positions that require everyone to step up to get the win.

I’m a fan of Dak, but I completely agree with this. Keep drafting talented QBs with potential. It doesn’t have to be round 1. There’s no reason for us to be fretting over who might be our backup among a bunch of scrubs. We should be developing a guy who has something special, whether arm or mobility.
Greenbay did this for years.
Taking QBs in the mid rounds and grooming them.
Smart stratagy if you ask me.

Someone in college right now
Lmao at the 20th overall pick? We don’t have the trade assets to move up nor should we since drafting is a crap shoot.

You have a top 10 QB, build a team and surround him with coaching. Praying for a lottery ticket is a terrible way to plan. Less than 10% chance we land anyone better than Dak. There’s like 5-6 guys considerably better than Dak. From 7-14 they are all the same. You need a good team and good coaching.

I bet you were clamoring for us to trade for Russell Wilson a few years back huh?

Troy Aikman rarely led a comeback because he didn't have to.
Why some fans here praise Dak for SOMETIMES working us out of holes that he played a huge part in putting us in is beyond me.

That's not something to feel pride about at all.

Didn't Dak complete like 3 passes for 12 yards the entire 4th quarter and overtime of that Green Bay game? lol

The wailing on this website when Dak signs his next extension is going to be very entertaining. You will have to keep them off of skyscrapers and away from sharp objects.

I'm not the biggest Dak guy around, but his extension is inevitable
I agree the extension will be made but it shouldn't prevent posters from voicing their views and observations.

Read the first few explanations of contracts for Rodgers, Wilson, Carr, Murray, and Stafford, including earliest outs and dead money. Love Dak or hate him, love Jerry or hate him, I think you’ll appreciate just how good Dak’s contract is compared to other QBs. Most of those teams have no options at all and are stuck with QBs, no matter how bad things get. The Cowboys are likely to extend Dak soon because they believe in him, but his contract is very team friendly and has a really easy out.

Unrelated side-note, I was surprised by former QB Tim Hasselbeck’s list of NFC QB’s he trusts most to win an NFC playoff game. He had Dak at number 2.
ESPN does meet my agenda and my opinion therefore it's trash. Except I will quote it when it fits my agenda and opinion.

Those folks at ESPN just don't understand it like we do on fanzone

You are impossible.

I am done with this conversation.

Josh Allen. Your hero. Routinely puts his team in those positions. FYI
Then be done with this conversation.

By the way, Zeke has to average close to 80 yards a game here on out for you to win the bet again. Just a reminder lol
