CFZ WR group is probably the worst outside of the Giants

I think that's an exaggeration with regards to Gallup.

His targets per game have always varied widely.
- They use him as the deep threat to run off the coverage to open things up for other receiving options.
2021: 35 catches in 9 games
2022: 31 catches in 11 games

A difference of about 1 catch per game.

He was considered very good in 2021.

The difference is that he was #3 WR in 2021 but #2 WR in 2022; therefore expectations are higher.

In 2021, even with Cooper, CeeDee and Gallup, they got contributions from 4th/5th WRs Brown & Wilson. In 2022 they don't have contributions from #4/#5.

Obviously adding an elite WR would be a good plan for the off-season because it makes the other WRs better. i.e. Gallup is better if he moves back to being #3 even if his performance does not significantly change. The question is draft or free agency. Jerry seems intent on signing a big name but it might be best if they can hit on a WR in the draft.
Well, we have been throwing more passes to our RB's, our TE's, and our number one WR Lamb. So the lack of production by Gallup is understandable. The offense has been pretty good since Dak's return, except the two games where we didn't establish the run. If we would have had our rushing attack performing up to par against Green Bay and Jacksonville, we could have won those games.

So, I don't look at it as if the passing game isn't working, it's just they passes are going elsewhere now. And for a team that needs to establish the run to be competitive...I don't see late additions to our WR group making a real difference this year.

A franchise QB changes everything. He can make up for a lot of deficiencies within an organization. I question a lot of Moore’s calls but he’s very limited with Dak.
Who is this franchise QB you want to replace Dak with? And what makes him so much better than Dak?

Mahomes OL ranks top 5 in pass pro win rate, he has a HOF TE, 3 WR a drafted in the 1st 2 rounds and a HOF coach.

The Bills traded for Allen to get him a legit #1 elite WR. Their OL is top 10 in pass pro win rate.

Burrow has arguably the best WR trio in football. Top 5 being conservative.

Theirs your 3 elite QBs that are all better than Dak. Their teams have helped them and haven’t used this “our QB will elevate us no matter what” methodology. Like Dak or not, we subtracted at the position in the offseason. We can run Dak off just like we did Romo, but as long as the Jones are running the show I have high doubts about them putting together a Championship team.

He’s not on the roster. I wanted to sell the farm for Burrow. We’re too busy trying to sell jerseys and merchandise to make a splash in the draft and grab that guy. I really like the kid out of NC coming out in a couple years. This is the only position on the team that gives us a snowball’s chance in $&@? at EVER getting back to the dance in JJ’s world. I just hope SJ can see the light one day.

The number of good teams this year might just be 5 deep, many bad teams. TB who is probably going to be at home against us, beat us soundly opening night.
The Bucs would lose to a much better Cowboy team.

Worst part is it’s an awful WR class in the draft and not sure they’ll be much help in FA unless we kick the tires on a trade for Cooks again.

Some keep missing the point. It" not, Dak!! It's not the offense!! It's the coaching and DEFENSE!! If the defense were playing like they were. We'd be killing teams. Dallas has the number one offense plus scoring. Teams have just caught up to us as they did about this time last year. And McFly, Mooreless and 'Q" can't figure how to counter it. Simple as that. We have two problems -defense-and our coaches then add in the pathetic GM that didn't make more moves on defense when we had the chance. Not astrophysics here. Simple mathematics as 1 plus 1=2  We have the worst in game coaches and seasonal management in the history of the NFL.

This has nothing to do with Dak, a good secondary will be able to double Lamb and easily cover Noah Brown. There is a reason why they almost traded for Cooks, flirted with Beckmann and signed Hilton as the group is average outside of Lamb.

Its always Dak fans who make these kind of statements. If we fail the receivers are no good, the offensive line is no good, the defense is no good, the running backs are no good. Which is why it would be unsurprising if you were a Dak fan, because that is who makes those kind of statements.

It literally has nothing to do with the QB. Literally zero. There are metrics that track this stuff.

So how come we are the highest scoring team in the NFL since Dak came back?
Outside of lamb the other wrs are terrible and can't separate. Ranked 31st in separation.
Gallup has a 10 inch vertical right now.

The front office is desperately trying to find wr help ie: obj, Hilton.

So other fans see our wrs aren't good enough, stats say they aren't good enough, our front office thinks they aren't good enough...

But Roy says they are !
