Zeke & Pollard are the MVP of this team not Dak or Micah

This offense will go far as the running game with its ability to set up the passing game. The running game does many wonders like protecting the OL by allowing them to run block being their strong suit and help chip in pass protection. The persistence of the run game forces defenses to change game plan, coverages, schemes, and obliterate blue prints by DCs making Dak’s life easier.

For the defense it keeps them fresh to pass rush at max effort for the entire game. In addition the ability to control T.O.P protects Micah and this defense from its achilles heel “stopping the run”. Which has cost Cowboys many leads and many play-off games.

McCarthy and Moore needs to run from pro-style set and not shotgun while making sure Zeke & Pollard are active for four quarters.

Zeke?

Give it a rest, and stop the Zeke worship.

Pollard and Parson’s are the offensive and defensive MVPs of this team.

Zeke is nowhere near the conversation.

10 TDs says you are wrong and his contribution to controlling TOP makes him top defensive player even though he doesn’t play defense.

correct.. Dak needs, Dak has to have a dominant running game to succeed.

Put Pollard in at 1st and Goal at the 1 more often, and Pollard would have 10 more touchdowns.

Zeke gets the easy touchdowns and is nothing special. Past his prime for sure.

Pollard was voted into the Pro Bowl. And Zeke wasnt.
Which says you are wrong.

I think you meant to switch Zeke and Micah in your OP….

Zeke fault again.......got it. Just can't help it. I'm blaming bad weather in the DMV on Zeke and the reason we ain't won anything for over 25 years. Miserable now?

Zeke has 10 TDs which is more than CD & Schultz combined.

One does not even need to focus on touchdowns to demonstrate Zeke's worth. He also has converted 45 first downs. One less than Pollard.. despite missing two full games. So one more TD and one less first down. While missing two games. The nonsense about "If they give Pollard the goal line carries" is just that. Zeke has scored TDs on 9 of his 20 carries from the 10 yard line in. He averages 2.0 yards per tote down there. Pollard has scored on 3 of 11 carries and averages 1.4 yard per carry there. So TP gains less yardage and puts it in the end zone at a much lower frequency. What this would seem to indicate is that if they gave Pollard those carries he would take more cracks at it to score which would bring his overall yards per carry way down. I don't know why it has to be taken as a knock on one guy to acknowledge that there are things that the other guy does better. Pollard creates more explosive plays than Zeke.. which is wonderful. But there are things he does not do as well as Zeke.. Why admitting that is such a problem for some folks will always be a mystery.

He has a dominant running game, pro bowl caliber receiver and a decent Oline....At some point he needs to earn that 40M.

Correction.. he has was COULD BE a dominant running game. Only either he or the OC will not let it because they go away from it for long stretches of damn near every game. I am not here to declare that it's one vs the other but I do know this.. If it's Moore always sending in pass plays and 5 wide empty backfield formations then he still needs to be fired. If it's Dak going rogue and audibling out of run plays that Moore send then Moore stills needs to be fired for not being strong enough to keep his player on point and Jerry needs to hire an OC Dak will listen to. In the final analysis Dak's contract says he will be here at least two more years.. Moore can be sent packing tomorrow.

Oh and the pro bowl caliber receiver thing? If that's all you have at receiver and the rest of your corps is C-minus or lower you're royally screwed because any halfway decent DC can take away one guy if he wants to and make the other guys beat them. Like JAX did on the 3rd down play in the 4th quarter. They triple covered CeeDee and took their chances that nobody else would stand up in a tight situation. They were right.

They have combined 19 TDs the OC knows a little bit just need to be more consistent.
