Me fellow frustrated fellows and bland men (a good thing):
I took time from me prank calls and dominos tournament to revisit a highlights video of Cowboys vs. Jags.

Upon further review, Dak turned in a good to very good game. It is clear to see. Passes to Lamb, Brown and even Sequel Elliott made him a highlight reel in itself.

Dak's stats, 23-30/256 yards (save 2 INTs) against the jags are impressive.

Looked crisp. Tough, bulls headfirst into a defensive wall close to a TD. Off the field he is a role model.

Thus, on second look, in the rumination of a vacuous mind, I extend an olive loaf to the Dak lovers, who loyally bear the slings and feathers of the many Dak skeptics. They exemplifiy fealty of true fans, some of whom see the star and withhold valid complaint.

But on the same token, as Dak impressed this keen eye I thought to meself, but what about crunch time.
That, me hale, misguided Dak lovers, is what worries me.

Me dudes and the ambiguous, I and the Dak detractors need to see a leadership and decisiveness come crunch time.

Mateys, on Sunday, a holy day, I saw Dak throwing TDs at each end of the end zone, running for a first down and bulling his way near the end zone.
But short.
I respect Dak, hale men, but against the Egirls I expect an "A" game.

If he plays a good game yet doesn't take his team over the line, it is fair to question Dak's cumulative gain to the Cowboys.
It is tha simple. Get over into tha end zone now and in tha playoffs.

Dak is a top ranked front runner and when things are going great he is fine. When pressure mounts he is no better than a Baker Mayfield. That is where the problem lies. He looks real good at times and people wonder why he can't play like that all the time and the simple answer is pressure combined with inconsistent play.

perhaps a thorough review of last nights Jets game can assist Dak detractors with what a sucky QB looks like. And to think some of those very detractors suggested us trying to obtain him. That is a classic example of why the analyst in here have little to no credibility.

you sure put a lot of effort into nothing
Playing at a high level for the ENTIRE game is what should be praised
ANYTHING ELSE is just making excuses for failure

BROWN NOSER !!!!!!!!!!

When you don’t evaluate as pro Dak / anti Dak and just as a rational football fan it’s amazing how the perspective changes.

Dak played very well overall against Jax with 1 awful pick.
I’m not gonna lie I’m pro Dak and I came away from that game not thinking he was why we lost
But thinking it was a “meh” game. Watching it again….It was better than I initially thought. Especially when you look at the All 22. There’s a lot of stupidity going on that just isn’t winning football and it wasn’t the qb play.

I don’t really consider myself pro or anti any player but thought he played really well.

Spread the ball around well, looked poised confident and had a few big plays rolling out of the pocket to extend drives.

The problem is, this is literally the narrative to Dak Prescott nearly every-time we lose lol

As long as he isn’t the clear cut reason we’re losing I’m not going to bash him just because he’s the QB. Most of the games he’s thrown a pick the good has still outweighed the bad.

If you watched TNF last night that is bad QB play that is directly losing you games. Jets obviously lol.

You make a good point. For people that trash Dak...what are the options? Have Lawrence or Wilson as a 1st pick? Oh hell no!

However....

I think it's okay to have some concerns about Dak without comparisons to other "sucky" QB's.

Sometimes "just throwing a pick" most certainly can be the reason you lose. Even if you play well the rest of the game.

Noah is getting curb stomped...for playing well "most of the game". But Dak gets your free pass.

Not personally attacking you...just saying in general.

Congratulations?

One pick was the result of a guy tugging at his throwing shoulder as he let the ball go and the other Brown played volleyball with. Dak had a very good game.. His teammates let him down. He will never say it, but any rational fan saw it. These delusional morons trying to spin it as a bad game are again trying to convince themselves that they're right. Dak was on point that entire game. His only mistake continues to be trusting his receivers.. and they keep letting him down.

sure its free speech and opinions but many of those concerns is regergitated BS from the same people. I have reached the point where i laugh.people look at that 40 mil and therfore its his fault and while he can take part of the blame as far as Im concerned he is down the list of things to be worried about. And as you say there are not alot of other options out there. Our window is now an unfortunately we will need a few breaks to go our way to represent the NFC. I think we can beat tampa and Philly(well find out saturday) but I dont know we are good enough to beat San Fran without the rookie making mistakes.

Im just going to enjoy the ride and laugh at the meltdowns. My days of losing sleep over this organization are behind me. If jerry dont care enough to fix it ill root on sunday maybe be pissed through monday then Im on to the next thing. Injuries have curbed my enthusiasm for the defense plus we havent stopped the run all season long.

Are we talking about last week? Noah’s play was unfortunate but the defense lost the game.

That game is about as easy to sum up as it gets.
