Now that the dust has settled, i went back and rewatched all the highlights. Anyone notice that their receiver was open and if that ball was 1 foot closer, we'd be having a different conversation. There were 3 defenders 1 or 2 yards off of him.
Not sure what's a bigger issues, the corners or lack of pressure.

Just looking at it from a different perspective

I don't think it was that close. One of the commentators even called it no good before the ball even got there.

Did you miss the part where our D line put pressure on Minshew on the 3rd and 4th down that forced those throws…

some of you are Eagles fans … no doubt in my mind. Football is a game of inches…

The OP needs to go watch that last play again. The pass was not even close and the reason it was not close is the pressure forced the Philly QB into throwing awkwardly.

Lane Johnson was out and there was pressure on that last drive. It will be interesting to see how the Eagles play without him.

Wow, don't be blind. Having discussions on concerns that could truly bite us is in the upcoming games. We have a chance to play some very accurate QBs. Yes defense pressured him, but he wasn't off that much. Our pass rushers aren't getting there anymore. Our corners are being exposed. I'm curious to see what can be fixed

First thing I thought was how dangerously close an Eagle was to that last desperation pass to the endzone.

I know my heart stopped for a second or two, you never know about those and who might end up with the ball

I looked at that play also.
My initial thought was the same. If less air under it, or the WR was a bit faster it was catchable.
Credit the pass rush.

However…upon a closer look…Yes there were 3 DB”s in the area. And one had a step on the WR. As he was just about to get in front of him as the ball hit the ground.
So it easily could have a PBU.

I really thought we'd pound the ball straight at them until we got a td. I thought for sure MM was going for it. It was a stressful ending for sure.

I thought it was close watching it live. I just watched it again it was close. I paused it right when the ball hit the ground and Brown was standing on the top of the big Cowboys helmet and the ball landed in bounds. I know camera angles can be deceiving but it did look close. Either Brown didn't see the ball or he made a business decision because Hooker was going to light him up. I don't think he knew where Minshew threw the ball because it looks like the play was designed to go to Brown right at the 10 yard line to pick up the 1st down and then call their last timeout. He looked like he was open on that play too. Luckily we got a pass rush to blow that play up.

Anyone with a different take than yours is automatically not a fan. I see.

Tell me, what was your predicted record for the Cowboys before this season started?

The last pass play by the Eagles was not close.

Defenders would be positioned differently if the ball was catchable.
