One has to wonder if Ceedee would’ve been able to blossom like this with Coop still here.

Dez WAS a beast he didn't run every route but that's it. The team didn't really ask him to either

CeeDee was catching some early flack this year for his drops, but rather than folding or complaining he stuck his nose down and did the thing! Absolutely love him, one of my favorite players on the team. The fat extension he’ll get will be well deserved. Congrats #88!

They're very different receivers, but yeah 2014 Dez is still better.

With the ball in the air, Dez had the air dominance of an Apache helicopter. One of the best jump ball receivers I've ever seen, behind maybe only Megatron. But he was a below average route runner that couldn't get separation consistently, so he'd disappear for stretches.

It's early, but CeeDee is definitely more of smooth criminal out there. He just looks so savvy off the line and in and out of his breaks. His ability to line up anywhere makes it harder for defenses to scheme him.

Up to this point in their careers, CeeDee has racked up more yards, but Dez scored more TDs. So it kind of depends on how much weight you put into those categories at the moment.

That said, Lamb's style of play is more conducive to a lengthier career, and I don't think it will be much of a comparison in 5-6 years.

If you dont have him in the top 5, he has at least entered the conversation

Right now Jefferson, Chase, Diggs and Hill are probably the only ones definitely ahead of him. Alot of other great WR's that could go in that 5th spot, but Lamb makes a very good case

CeeDee's body language is different too. I think that is underrated but it's important as he evolves into not only alpha dog WR #1, but a team leader as well.

Lol come on now. I agree Dez didnt have the longevity of other great wideouts, but for those 3-4 years, he was gotdamn near unstoppable, limits aside. CeeDee is def a better possession receiver, but Dez in his prime for those 3-4 years was another level. Stop.
