So I expose you know squat about football by saying we beat many top teams and all you got is a 3rd grade personal attack ? I’m sorry you have no facts to back up your dumb statement…need a hug ?
Look at you go. Are you 15, ugly, generally unlikable, or mental? I can’t figure it out.

Still no facts, huh ? Loser. Apparently, there is a lot you can’t figure out in addition to football. Go figure. Come back when you find all those top teams you said we beat…lol.

Look at you. What a charmer. I bet you got your azz kicked a lot growing up and it made you angry.

As of now Dallas is 6-3 against teams currently in the playoffs with wins against the top seeds in the NFC and the 3 seed in the AFC. That’s pretty solid.

Now go seek an enema. You need it.

You said we beat many of the top teams - that’s what you said, girlfriend. Jeez, some teams in playoff contention have below or just .500 records. Those are top teams ? Lol… so now you’re a desperate loser too ? And did you sink to including the Giants ? Oh, Lordy…lol. Man, I thought I just exposed your football ignorance but guess I exposed your thin skin and low self esteem with your enema and other 3rd grade personal attacks. Show your replies to your parents and make them proud. Hopefully they don’t ground you. Now run along and try to think before you say your next dumb statement. It’s gonna be fine, you’ll outgrow it. Maybe.

Yah, ignore the games and go to stats…Cincy couldn’t have beat a college team at the beginning of the season when we played them…we lost to the Eagles once and beat them without their starting QB…And did you sink to including the Giants ? What an angry little guy. Maine is great. How can you be such a chucklehead and be from there? So angry. Get some of that fresh sea air. It might even help you.

For the first time since the Barry Switzer era (joke), the Cowboys have back-to-back 10 win seasons. Under Jimmy Johnson, and his successor Switzer, the Cowboys ran off 6 consecutive double digit winning seasons from 1991 - 1996. Not even the great Bill Parcells managed that, and we all know Switzer did it with the momentum built by Johnson.

I think it is high time that Mike McCarthy starts getting more respect from the Cowboys fandom, and across the NFL. His reputation took a hit because of the narcissism of Aaron Rodgers. But he has proven he's a winner in Dallas, overcoming losing his starting QB this season to give the Cowboys fans back-to-back 12 win seasons. Maybe, just maybe, we can hope that this change in culture will lead to playoff success as it did for the last team to have back-to-back 12 win seasons (1994 & 1995) Those seasons ended in the NFC Championship game against the 49ers and a Super Bowl victory over the Steelers.
Who was qb for the great Parcells? He took trash to the playoffs, you give Parcells this team no way we lose GB and Jax. You give MM the same team Parcells took to the playoffs with Quincy crack head Carter and there’s no way MM even squeezes 5 wins out of that team.

I'll give McCarthy some credit for two straight winning seasons. But what good is it if you get the same results Garrett had with winning seasons? Change this and I'll say the team culture has changed. Same results? No change.

Can we do something in the playoffs before praising McCarthy and Dak all the time? Geez.

Well some don't seem to have any aversion to smearing McCarthy and Dak all the time regardless of the playoffs, but that's okay huh?

Actually I'm not sure if the team's culture has changed that much due to the Jones's, but Garrett had the nickname of 8 & 8. Aside from 2020 with Dak's broken ankle, Big Mike's regular season W record was 12 W's last year and 12 or 13 W's this year. I'll take McCarthy's record over Garrett's any day.

Dak has had plenty of chances in the playoffs what are you talking about?

McCarthy won with Aaron Rodgers, but it was over a decade ago. He flamed out many times in the playoffs after with Aaron Rodgers and then again last year with Dak.

McCarthy impact goes as his asst and coordinators goes, imo .
- Like it or not, Kellen is still a guy that has his offense among top leaders in every category
- Like it or not Quinn unit has it's struggles but still tops with total turnovers and sacks
- Bones is still among the better special teams coaches in the NFL (marer turpin have been huge for this team)

But what of McCarthy himself ?
Though the Mike Nolan hire was an utter debacle and game management decisions are still in question.
- His hire of his long time buddy OL coach Joe Philbin has been invaluable to this team. Especially with all the injuries and moving parts
- Has anyone notice the cease of plaguing penalties we've lately (Joseph's flags aside)
- McCarthy has made no qualms about his aggressiveness in going for 4th down spots and occasions -even if on his side of the field ..and on the road.

I think he was underrated too. Followed Jimmy and did have a talented roster but that alone doesn’t win you games. He is probably one of the most underrated football coaches of the last 50 years either in college or the pros.
Barry Switzer was not underrated as a college coach.

Seems to slip many fans' minds that the Cowboys were 12-4 and 13-3 with two division titles in a three-season span.

means nothing if/when they lose in the playoffs

All things considered, I think Mike McCarthy deserves more credit and less negative scrutiny here. Let's recall that we put up with Garrett for a decade, with far less to boast about. Let's give him enough support to encourage him to stick around until he fails convincingly. Raising Cain over someone who's spearheading two 12-win seasons isn't supportive at all. He isn't going anywhere unless or until he's done. He surely isn't. Coaching under the auspices of this FO is anything but a picnic. Overcoming that heavy cross deserves far more credit and less scrutiny.

Great point. It did slip my mind and got me to thinking. Garrett's 2014-2016 is the same as McCarthy's current 3 year run. It's even more comparable in that McCarthy is given his free pass year of covid/injuries for 2020 just like Garrett got his free pass for Romo being out for 2015.

Really good comparative post man and one I will refer back to.
And for the record, I dont/didn't like either McCarthy or Garrett.
LOL

So far,
6 teams have 12 W's or more
26 teams have less than that.
The Cowboys are in the top 6 in the NFL.

Apparently some Dallas fans are happy to see 12 W's 2 years in a row, seems like a natural reaction to me. Don't know what will happen in the playoffs, but what's wrong with fans being happy about the record we already have?
If you can't allow any "praise" at all to the HC and QB who have got us to that point, well that's up to you.
But others have just as much right to cheer the Cowboys as you do to badmouth them.
Give 'em a break Jay.
