Hands down Dak is better than Purdy

Smoke and mirrors will come to an end Sunday afternoon. Purdy was drafted dead last for a reason. Dak was drafted much higher because he had a superior college career. Dak lead the #1 ranked team in college.

Dak is playoff battle proven and Purdy is a novice with just one win. Purdy won't be able to handle a #1 defense like Dallas. Quinn will have him seeing ghosts.

I just can't see anyone claiming Purdy is the better QB

Purdy has done a great job as a rookie, let alone as Mr. Irrelevant.

If the draft was an exact science you wouldn't have busts nor would Dak of fallen to the 4th. Brady fell to the 6th, and he was alright too for 20 years.

At this stage I think Dak is better too, but they don't play head to head on the field. IMO it's more about the defense vs the run game. We know they can get after the Quarterback. It's more about if they can force 3rd and long and not 3rd and 2 all game.

The 49ers, for my money, have the most impressive offensive scheme (and the personnel to support it) in the NFL. They seem almost QB-proof. The Cowboys held Garoppolo down very well last season...and it didn't matter. The QB still matters of course, but maybe less for them than anyone else.

We will find out soon enough.

But as of now I agree. Dak is the superior QB in that matchup. Purdy is just at the beginning. But let's see what challenges both defenses are able to put up.

Purdy's been incredible. The only knocks on him are his draft status and the small sample size, but he's been incredible.

The 49ers have made deep playoff runs with Alex Smith, Colin Kaepernick, Jimmy G and now (potentially) Brock Purdy. They're going to be tough to beat.

I don't think the QB "matchup" - if there even is such a thing - matters much here. They're going to try to run the ball down our throats. Whether or not they can do so is going to decide this game.

he is but he should be being that Purdy was one pick away from being an Undrafted rookie

and side note

this forum is looking a lil light on the content...there was double the amount of post and threads and somehow i left for like 4 days because i got annoyed and somehow its a ghost town

It’s not Purdy - it’s his coach and his ridiculous weapons .
Who’s covering Deebo. & mccaffrey?

Purdy has the better offensive line though. If he gets all day, unlike Dak, hes going to look better

Purdy is their future QB. He reminds me so much of Romo with his pocket awareness and movement.

Man i have it on good authority from this very forum that a rookie QB will not cut it in the playoffs...Something about 2016 or something...

Let's keep things on the realm of reality, please. Purdy, despite his great start, does not qualify to even wash Dak's jock yet or Danny Jones' for that matter.

The Niners have taken the crown from the Patriots within the last few years with regard to the Best Organization in Football along with the current best coach (debatable) in the NFL.
Purdy is playing outstanding within the system which the Niners have built. Purdy may be overachieving - we will find out soon!

It's a Shanahan offense. That RPO stretch roll out game and the counters. It puts the QB on the move or requiring discipline to target effectively. It is a nightmare for pass rushes and the play action creates space all over the field to pass to.

We stop that ish we win.

dak is the best qb of the nfc div playoff teams.
and its not close.

Purdy has the easiest QB job in the playoffs. Like I said when Jimmy G went down, the team is not QB dependent!
