They were talking about how much an influence with Cee Dee, Gallup and the rest of the receivers TY Hilton has been. TY’s been around and has some skins on the wall. Playoffs, played with great receivers so he knows what it takes to be a successful WR. He’s passing the knowledge to the young guys. They haven’t had that in the past. Cooper would rather play chess than play football it seems. So Kudo’s to the FO for passing on “get everyone off the damn plane” OBJ and signing TY Hilton. Great signing.

Found a way to put blame on Cooper. He wasn't a playoff WR either was he?

Sounds like another reason the Cowboys got rid of Amari Cooper.

We had this type of thing with Jason Peters, too.

He could not only explain, and teach, he could also get out there and walk the walk.

What a cool dude he was coming in.

Definitely not an away game receiver.

Talking playoffs and players is difficult, because the numerous factors, and the sample size is small.

Plenty to glean from his regular season career, though.

Amari's greatness went away when he played away, consistently. While T.Y.'s teams were often playoff bound. OBJ played in 2 playoff games, including 1 Super Bowl. T.Y. has played in 5 playoff games, and no Super Bowls.

Correction, now 6 for T.Y.

I'd try to bring TY back next season
I would too. Just to have your base guys as Lamb, Gallup, Hilton, Brown, and then add to that..

You've already got Gallup and Lamb tied up...

TY seems so eager to contribute to the offense on the field. If he does the same off the field, then he's that much more valuable to the Cowboys.

The most "eager" player of all is Kelvin Joseph. I wish we had a coach who could work that, somehow.

Good to see......Peters has offered similar mentorship to Tyler. Exactly what this team needs .......couple of guys who have been there to keep the young players grounded a bit.
