They've been adding vets with the right character to mentor the young pups, never liked the too cool for school or the I'm not gonna help a young guy that wants to take my job attitudes, selfishness has no place in a winning culture, this team acts and plays like a family. And that is a thing that Big Mike brought in and should be praised.

Is it McCarthy that has lead them to make these in season pick ups? Peters, Hankins, TY all contributing and can’t name how many years they’ve stood Pat while obvious upgrades were passed over for bottom of the roster filler
Well, based on past history it sure as hell isn’t Jerry. Not to say that Jerry could’ve changed. But it probably took MM to change him.

They were talking about how much an influence with Cee Dee, Gallup and the rest of the receivers TY Hilton has been. TY’s been around and has some skins on the wall. Playoffs, played with great receivers so he knows what it takes to be a successful WR. He’s passing the knowledge to the young guys. They haven’t had that in the past. Cooper would rather play chess than play football it seems. So Kudo’s to the FO for passing on “get everyone off the damn plane” OBJ and signing TY Hilton. Great signing.

Only if we could get him the ball more

Yes, showing Lamb. What about the rest of the receivers like TY Hilton has done lately since he's joined the team?
Do you really think that he would ONLY advise Lamb?

Its the nature of all position groups - they go over film, they go thru Training camp, practice - they hang out ect

They bounce things off each other and vets will drop knowledge on the younger guys...goes for all position groups and teams.

Do you have proof Amari shared his knowledge with the rest of the receivers other than CeeDee?

Do you have evidence to the contrary? If not, it's useless speculation and a huge stretch, given the nature of the game. A simple peek at passing stats pre-Cooper to post-Cooper will tell you all you need to know. Why trash the guy when clearly he was a difference maker when he was here and elevated the offense?

Great point and that brings up Hankins as well.

They're going to need everyone.

Truth is, there truly is a chance they lose against the 9ers. I'm not oblivious to that. I'm just hoping this group will surprise us. They seem like they are all on the same page. DQ could come back and coach back to back defense if they win for him, which would be a reason you'd think could temp him to stay.

IMO, the defense has a lot on the line this game.

We all know San Fransico's defense is pretty great.
