I don't think we will have a problem beating the Eagles again. Our win should not have been that close as Dak just gave them 7 with a lazy pick 6. We beat Eagles easy next week if we get past SF.

I don't share your optimism, but I will say we have a better chance at beating the Eagles than the 49ers do. Their young quarterback will buckle in the face of that pass rush.

Not the 2nd round, but I remember the Giants laying the wood against Minnesota in the early 2000s. One of the worst playoff games I ever remember seeing.

Funny enough, I remember the Vikings destroying us like 35-3 or something in the playoffs in the late 90s. That was sickening.

Agreed, if they hit the Eagles in the mouth the last game...they would have had so much more confidence this game and the Eagles would have been on their heels. Instead they played down so the Eagles looked at them this week and said we beat these bums twice already, hold my beer!

Yeah they could have tried to give it their best shot at knocking the Eagles out of the first seed, knowing of how the Eagles have recently dominated their team in that series. And could have tried hoping that they could match up with the 49ers or give the 49ers the number one seed. Instead they just handed the number one seed to a divisional rival they know owns them and this is the result of that. Was resting their starters worth beating an overrated Vikings team, but getting stomped on National TV by a divisional rival in a playoff game?

I remember that. 41-0 against the Culpepper Vikings. 34-0 at halftime. 2001 NFC championship.
