We had the same opportunity with Dak for 4 years or whatever.

And this is why I ask whether or not the Joneses would be willing to go all in in the scenario that a new QB is drafted and Dak goes to another team in a couple of years. If they didn't do it on Dak's rookie contract, why should I have faith that they would do it on the next Cowboys rookie QB's contract?

The Cowboys were easily at least the 3rd best team in the NFC and were very close to advancing even with the difficult road route and short rest against a very good 49er team.

Don't discount the strides the Giants have made and their prospects for the future. The NFCE is once again becoming the class of the league.

I don't dispute SF is better run, as I have stated in this thread. They are operating WAY closer to how we operate than the Eagles.

The eagles are doing things unconventionally, that is for sure. It takes a lot of luck and good pro player eval to operate how they are. That means, not only do you have to have an accurate eval of the player your are trading for but you have to know the player better than the team that is trading them.

The eagles have been lucky with that. Typically teams know their players better than teams that trade for them.

When the Eagles win on Sunday, that will be 2 Super Bowls since 2018 after swapping out coaches, QB, players, offensive/defensive systems.

It will be 3 Super Bowl appearances, 7 Conference Title appearances, 16 playoff wins for the Eagles since the last time the Cowboys got out of the divisional round. My God how do these two bumbling idiots not feel any shame?!

For you to sit there and actually try and make an argument that the Dallas Cowboys FO is better than the Eagles is laughable. Its not any team. Its our biggest Divisional Rival. That has now lapped us. AGAIN!

The only teams this FO is better than currently is Washington and Detroit.

Let that sink in. Winning doesnt matter in Dallas. The culture this FO has created makes these players believe they have already won when they get drafted by the Cowboys.
