Tyler Smith was an instant success at LT and LG. Biadasz had his best year. So did McGovern. Philbin doesn't get any credit for that?

I believe he was also the one who was championing Steele to take over at RT and he has done well prior to the injury,

Risen, I'm betting Philbin being let go is a result of some O-linemen talking to the FO. Not sure what else would've caused that given the injuries.

agree. The silence from Jerry has been deafening. Heads are rollin and many more to come. How long til Mike McCarthy decides he wants out? I mean we just canned his guys. If I am him, I am seriously wondering if I should be here another year. Is this what Jerry is doing? Forcing Mikes hand? Does Jerry really want Sean Payton or Quinn as HC? If we want Quinn, Jerry might get very desperate.

If the NFL was fair, any HC that does not have the authority hire his own staff should be exempt from blame and it should be laid squarely on the shoulders of the GM.

Cowboys HC's are immediately undermined by Jerry Jones the minute they sign that contract. If you are given the responsibility to build a successful team then you should have the authority to hire the guys you want to train them.
