They're not even going to try and draft a QB.

Because unforntunetley I believe they lean more to your side and the "just get Dak more help" argument.

I've said plenty of times that Dak isn't going anywhere because of his contract. That's why I always being up the Mahomes/Smith situation. Because the Cowboys could do something similar by drafted a possible replacement and letting them sit for a year or 2, but we know they won't try. They'll go Oline, RB, or WR instead. Rinse and repeat year after year.
Nobody's opposed to drafting the next Mahomes. Stop it.

The odds of drafting a QB and that QB becoming the next Mahomes is ridiculously low. Or even the next Josh Allen.

That means that if the Cowboys draft a QB in the 1st round, the odds of that QB becoming better than Dak aren't very high. You're much more likely to be wasting that valuable pick.

And then everyone would rip on the Cowboys for drafting a bust of a QB instead of giving Dak more much-needed help.

If there's someone we LOVE and think is the next Mahomes, go get him, I guess? People thought Zach Wilson would be that guy too. Jerry was sick over not getting Paxton Lynch.

Not rankings per say, but 55 sacks in 2021, 44 sacks this year
Best i could find ranking wise was PFF having them at 28th pass blocking
Our line this year gave up 27 sacks for ref
On a slightly different topic but consistent with the "Dak Suxx" brigade's line of thinking...

But we gave away La'el Collins!!!!!

and

OMGz they went after it this year in FA on their OL spending bazzilions.

LOL.

I won't because they aren't. Swap Purdy and Dak and the Cowboys win that game easily. Just an average game from Dak and the Cowboys win.
Not so sure. Purdy handing to Zeke and throwing to Lamb and scrubs? Dak handing to McCaffrey and throwing to Deebo and Kittle?

Allen played worse than Dak?

Allen had no running help while the Bills defense was destroyed by the Bengals. Allen threw 1 INT on the last Bills drive down 27-10 with 1:02 left in the game.

Dak, while also having no running game due to the Pollard injury, had a defense that kept Dallas in the game and shut down SF's weapons....yet Dak's 2 picks cost Dallas the game.

So how you can say with a straight face Allen played worse than Dak is amusing....just as much as considering Dak a Top 10 QB.
Allen played on par with what Dak did is more accurate.

Against a worst Defense at home.

Dak may be top 10 but Allend was consider top 3 and elite. Also was an MVP candidate at one point this year and completely fell apart.

So explain how Burrow let the game slip away when he tied it up 20-20 in the 4th quarter only to watch the Bengals defense commit an unnecessary roughness penalty which gave the Chiefs the win via a FG with :03 seconds remaining in the game.
Using the same lense you do for Dak...

He had the ball with just over 2:00 to go in a tie game. He didn't even get a FG. He is Elite.

Thats cause people on this board watch the sports drama shows. Have you not seen how important Skip Bayless and Stephen A Smith are to them? They're constantly posting what those morons say.

A lot of college QBs put up big numbers and amount to nothing. They took a chance and it paid off.

I'd love if the Cowboys traded up and drafted a QB to sit behind Dak until Dak can be let go. That would be the best move they could make as far as I'm concerned.
Ok I cant fault you for what you want. if you are talking in the 1st like the Chiefs did the you are talking at least 3 picks. With all the other needs its a huge risk. Its acrap shoot you never know. The cheifs got lucky and they are the exception not the rule. My guess is jerry wont pull trigger and i wouldnt either. Not because i dont want to get better at QB because I do.

We are hamstrung with dak and without guarantees of a what your getting you could set your franchise back years if you make a move that dont pay off. We have multiple needs a QB aint fixing all of them. I mean you could let dak know this is what were going to do either you go along with a trade or sit on the bench and see what it gets you but you dont put them kind of resources out for a QB to sit behind Dak. You do it to move on from him.

This is actually a reasonable post from you. Do this more often.

Stop chasing "likes" with click-bait posts. CowboysZone "clout" isn't worth anything, bro.

Are you new here? lol.

Another tough playoff loss, Dak is the biggest scape goat, deserved or not. Between his contract, play and length of being here posters turn eventually.
We went through it with Romo who was here for a decade+ and also didn't do well in the playoffs either.

The Mahomes strategy works ALL. THE. TIME.

Look at how great Jordan Love is for the Packers....Any day now he will be taking over for Rodgers.

Also...the 49ers knocked it out of the park with Trey Lance for Jimmy G!

It is easy....everyone is doing it!

Guys even mahomes with a broke leg showed you what it’s all about. Ball placement and play making and everything. True leadership. Not just fist bumps,

I want a new quarterback

Read more posts here - it has been said more than once.
By who? Name names. Name ONE name.

I'm on here quite often and I've never seen anyone post something like that. Mahomes is the best player in the league.

Nah...this line of thinking is DUMB.

Purdy's 3 almost picks would have had at least 2 picks then and Dak's would have been dropped.

you may want to find a new team then cause it isnt likely to happen.
