At least he won’t see an owner in front of camera. Just maybe the HC and GM will be on same page When it comes to talent selection. Fire yourself Jerry. Go chargers and take deep breath’s cowboy.

These GM's have gotten to see Moore coach at the NFL level for several years now. I am probably stating the obvious, but it has got to be a lot harder to project how a QB is going to transition to the NFL than for an offensive coordinator to move from one NFL franchise to another.
My point was GMs screw up all the time lol. Kingsbury just got fired and he was the next McVey. I wish Moore the best. He seems like a good guy. I just don’t think he was a good fit for this personnel.

Before Bellicheck became Bellicheck he had to get fired. It’s just part of his journey.

If true I wish Moore well. He will get to run an offense that wants to throw it 50 times a game and is constructed that way. I think he'll do just fine. Though he may find it a little more difficult to call plays when the line is every worse than the one in Dallas. Still he's gone from Dallas.. and I am happy about that. Just hope the Cowboys don't screw up the replacement hire. Find a guy who can run an offense that maximizes what Dak does well and allows you to run the ball more than 3-4 times a quarter in tight games.

I'm also hoping the next OC runs the play action sooner than the 3rd quarter against good defenses.

For some reason I was under the impression that Staley was regarded as one of these young offensive genius types and called his own plays.

That guy is on some thin ice. I’m surprised Moore would walk into the middle of it. Maybe he will take a page out of his mentors book and get Staley fired so he can take over.
+1 ......
BTW.... he was a former DC, not OC.

Guessing he wasn't so much fired as interested in leaving for this job
Yeah I don’t think Jerry lets him go. A better gig awaits him if Staley can win. If he can’t Moore will be fired with him next season. More security in Dallas but better opportunity in Chargers.

Elite talent.

He’s a much better QB then Dak right now.. You surely know that right?
I see no evidence he is a better qb.

He has more talent but who cares about that if the play doesn't match?

He’s not that good and he’s not that bad. He runs a simple system.

Herbert is going to make him look great though because Herbert can make plays when a play isn’t there to be made.
Garretts system has failed. Literally everywhere.

But elite QB play can mask that for sure.

The thing is people here will harp on it being Daks fault when Dak isnt even in the same stratosphere as Herbert physically.

So its an unfair argument in my opinion. That would be like Moore going to KC and everyone saying "see Moore is really good, we are stupid" lol

Gah.. You Dak guys are next level.

I get it though.. There used to be a ton of people on here who thought Romo was better than Rodgers so thinking Dak is better than Herbert is not a surprise.

I'd love to have Herbert in all honesty, but he wouldn't last here because he doesn't throw enough WRs open to win the division.

That other thread should be changed to say he's leaving rather than be fired. The timing suggests that KM was offered the Chargers job and chose to leave.

Qiestion: Will the other offensive coaches who were "fired" also turn up in LA?

Well aye I feel for you to have to deal with Cowboys and Chargers heartache.
The Chargers are just a fun backup that I enjoyed growing up..plus enjoyed my TCU guy LT there. Believe me all my heartache is Cowboys related
