Come on man, clearly it's more that yes they are in the sb and it sucks, but throwing in the towel is not the move because we're clearly competitive with them.
Yes we are competitive to a point. I never said throw on the towel. I just think it’s weak to celebrate that when they weren’t at their best. We have a competitiveness every year that has people saying “they can beat anyone” and that’s true until it’s nut cutting time and the really great teams step up. As I’ve said 100 times, I grew up crying when there was no SB in the 70s-90s. Now for going on 3 decades people enjoy and even celebrate being close to a divisional win. It’s weird to me

Hurt’s was far from perfect, but his team put up 31 on what everyone said was the best defense in the league. He’s in the league leaders in long passes completed this year. Maybe his shoulder is still an issue and maybe his his instructions are to just get the ball out.
To call him a bus driver is just ignorant or homer bias.
He’s been balling all season.

You mean that team we beat a few weeks ago?
The Commanders beat the Eagles. The Colts beat the Chiefs. Do those wins say something about the Commanders and Colts?

Philly won the division and the NFC Championship. They might win the SB. Dallas won a wild card game over an 8-9 team.

Hanging on to beat Gardner Minshew at home one Sunday doesn't override everything else in my mind.

It is weird.

Blows up the who "ELITE QBS WINZZZZZZZZZ" narrative around this place.

He is a classic bus driver who has great players all around him. Ya know...thing you guys bashed dak for in 2016.
By your logic, Dak "the clown car driver" Prescott should have 5 rings already, no? Why can't he drive the team to a SB?

Why change?

ESPN will spend more time today talking about the Cowboys than either championship game.

The Pro Shop will be full of sheep in their jorts and stained Novachek jerseys buying up camo mugs, dog accessories, Charlotte-inspired lingerie for their misses.

Six months from now, said sheep will serenade this deranged man who has kept us in neutral for years with "JERRY! JERRY! JERRY!" chants as he woddles on to the field in Oxnard.

We are a disgrace but we allow it because we're a soft fanbase. Jerry has been allowed to treat this franchise like his personal toy for three decades. A fanbase like Philly would have ran him out a long time ago.
ESPN will spend more time today xxxxxxx laughing about the Cowboys than either championship game.

RIGHT because there is no consistency among the idiocy.

He is a TEXT BOOK busdriver.

Anyone who says otherwise has an agenda.
Who led the league in explosive plays? Tic, tic, tic....I'm waiting.

It is weird isn't it?

We are trash but we beat the Eagles. "OMGz they didn't have popgun Hurts" and his 122 yards vs us...lol. It actually would have hurt them.
lol....The denial is strong in this one....

If Philly wins then the Thursday game to open next season is 100% Dallas at Philadelphia

Those damn Eagles just did it yet again.

Andy Reid built a team with Donovan McNabb and a dominant defense went to the Super Bowl and ruled the division for a good while.

Then it was torn down.

Then Doug Pederson, Carson Wentz, and Nick Foles combined with a stellar defense and beat the mighty Patriots for the Eagles first championship.

Then that was torn down.

Now Nick Siriani, Jalen Hurts, and another stifling defense is in place with a very young roster, and they're headed to a third Super Bowl in 20 years. This group looks to be around for a long, long time, too, and they have a top10 pick waiting in April.

Meanwhile, Dallas continues to fart and fall down every offseason, no longer willing to go after anyone of significance in offseason free agency. It's either the offense is stacked with talent and the defense is a turnstile, or the defense is fairly stout but the offense can't block or lacks weapons.

The Eagles made key offseason moves, and it's paying off. Last year, the Rams did the same and won a Super Bowl. The year before, Tampa did the same and won a Super Bowl with Brady.

Philly now owns this division clearly, and here we are a big pile of gunk that isn't going anywhere anytime soon with this lot.

It's going to take a magical offseason of free agent moves to get this thing tuned for anything of significance going forward. That's hard with limited cap space, a middling QB making $49 million, and a list of players needing new deals. Pollard, CeeDee, Diggs, Micah, and a list of others.

Anything short of some huge signings - and I'm talking about Aaron Rodgers, Daron Payne, DeAndre Hopkins, Javon Hargrave type guys - and this will remain an effort in futitility.

They need to either go for it or blow it up. Because hope isn't a strategy, no matter how much they wish it was.
I'm not reading all this but when are yall gonna blame Jerry and his idiot son and not Dak Prescott?

Uh huh.

If Dak did that same performance there would have been multiple 100 + page threads on it.

Joke.
The 12 points Dak put up was impressive, Dak will be watching the SB from his sleep number bed, Hurts will be playing in his second year, lmao with you homers who are so distraught over Dak.
