Interesting as Biadasz does not quite strike me a pro bowl caliber center.
I see him as decent/serviceable at best, imo.

I've seen several All 22 sessions segments where he's been rag dolled aside.

this is where i wonder about the the " popularity " contest with Pro Bowls
and we know how popular the Cowboys are traditionally wise.

Heck even Jaylon Smith made his way somehow into a pro bowl.(was it alternative replacement ?)
I saw alot of DL enter the backfield through the middel.

They should move the pro bowl to the hof ceremonies so the guys that earned pro bowl status can actually attend.

Happy for Biadasz, but really wish the NFL would separate the pro bowl players into Pro bowl and pro bowl alternative selections in the books. With it now being pre super bowl and with how many guys just skip it anymore it's too watered down to be much of an accomplishment.
Selected layers were declining to play 50 years ago when the Pro Bowl was played AFTER the Super Bowl.
-- players on both the champion team and runnerup would state they were "nursing injuries" from the game and declined to participate.
- in reality....the SB winning Pro Bowl players were still celebrating, and the SB losing Pro Bowl losing players were too dejected....most opted out of going to the Pro Bowl.

This makes me wonder how much better they can be since MM didn't think his buddy Philbin was up to the task.
Never a fan of Philbin, but Steele and Tyler sure worked out.
McGovern, not so much.

As for Biadasz, I wouldn't put him in the top half of the league.

Right now it's questionable but if he has an even better season next year then yes I would give him a 2nd contract.
Id have done it this year if he didnt get the Pro Bowl alternate nod. He has become a good Center, but if you sign him right now his contract is going to be for alot more than his play has warranted. Id wait until next year to see if he can validate his selection

Best Cowboys Centers since 1985
1. Tyler Biadasz
2. Mark Stepnoski
3. Andre Gurode
4. Ray Donaldson
5a. Travis Frederick
5b. Phil Costa

Imo, Frederick should be at least number 2 with Stepnoski at 1. Gurode should be number 3 with Biadasz at 4.

Biadisz has done well. And well done to him for making the Pro Bowl. I'm just saying, in terms of Cs from that era, I think the above should be our Pantheon of Cs

The Pro Bowl is an embarrassment, watching the Players go Ten-pin bowling would be more entertaining.

at his best, Fredbeard was the top Cowboys center I ever saw play.

Same here, and, from the accounts that I've heard, Stephanowski was excellent too, and Gurode was solid too when Albert Haynesworth wasn't kicking his face.

Considering they were dead last in the league in pass blocking win rate (holding your block for 2.5 seconds or more on a passing down), there is a lot of room for improvement.

They are very solid though.
I keep saying, this group with Steele healthy is a VERY good run blocking line, but even with Steele a mediocre pass blocking line.

Tyler Huntley just got selected to the Pro Bowl as an alternate to Josh Allen. Tells you everything you need to know about the current state of the Pro Bowl and NFL QBs.
