Fine do whatever you're going to do coach. But dont talk to fans like you're making a sales pitch. Reading exciting efficient transition just sounds like he's trying to hard to convince even himself. Just do it, shut up and coach your yr and either you win or fail but atleast it'll be by his doing not relying your future in Moores hands

Does it surprise me when people hire people they already have a history and trust level with?

No. Not at all.

Do I think they're dense for doing that?

No. Not at all. They're in a better position than I am to make that call. And it's not my job on the line ultimately, but theirs.

Rather, I think I'd be the dense one for believing I know better.

But that's just me.

For those thinking Mike McCarthy is going heavy run, that is never going to happen. MM is a passing guy, he specializes in QB play. Prescott will continue to sling it, sadly.

So weird how you guys process information.

Did you really expect some young hip hire? Why? They will run McCarthy's offense. What Schotty brings, along with Solari, is a know how for ground and pound.

I like the mindset change here. Meld that with McCarthy's proven passing game and I like it.

As opposed to BOY Wonder who hated to run the ball.

Ground and pound? The Cowboys don't have the backs for that kind of offense, do they? Zeke and pollard...ground and pound!

Weak and unimaginative but expected. McCarthy has to feel like this could be his last year.
Rats, risen! Those young whippersnappers we interviewed last week were high quality. They just didn’t interview well enough to earn the job! It really was an open race.

MM's job is to fix the passing game and becoming more efficient, the likes of Schott/Solari and a new RB coach will be about fixing the run game schemes to be able to run the football better. This has been the bigger issue the last 2 seasons that nobody mentions, run game was terrible down the stretch and in the playoffs.

Who knew "Biggie or Tupac?" was a token interview?

Per Jane - where are you goobers that told me those OC interviews last week were legitimate? Hahahaha

Same song and dance from this organization for 30 years - we like our guys - goes for players and coaches

So basically the most unimaginative and uninspiring choice they could make? Nice!!!

To be fair we dont know what MM is about without A-Rod, he does like the west coast offense and I'm sure we will see a variation of it....The good thing is if this doesnt work i see a pretty big change comming to this team. Its kinda what we all have asked for over the last 30 years, if you cant win with it then scrap it and start over.

So 2022 was a win for you? Is that what you are suggesting?
its was,

given it was an improvement, yes, the offseason jackholes said we would be lucky to win 9 games, be 3rd in our division, and didn't have the talent or depth to do anything. then dak goes down the media and zone then began predicting maybe 7 wins or worse...

Yet a 2nd round playoff berth..

yes 100% a win. this is about MM circa 2020, not anything before that and weve improved each season, those are facts that cant be disputed, our division and schedule were tougher, we had better wins against better talent and made it further even with adversity. a total win.

sorry you live in the past, cant let it go with a piss poor attitude has you unable to appreciate that.

YUP a step was made with MM and more changes being made now that MM feels will be even more of an improvement.

lets talk in 2024 , anything you try and predict or claim is foolish , its a guess, it has zero validity in the real world.

Lets, let it play out and then debate the results.

Hoping for a complete rebuild of the position. We shall see.
