Irvin pulled from Super Bowl coverage

What if this happened to Eisen, Mariucci or Warner, do they send them home? Of course, they're smarter than to leave themselves open to something like this.

I think it is interesting that the hotel's solution was to move him but NFLN took it a step further.
And it turns out this wasn’t just some Bimbo in the hotel , it was another NFL Network employee. Which makes it even more credible .

I could see a situation go down where Irvin had one too many drinks and he is feeling good .... then while walking down the hall he runs into one of the NFL network empoyee's and start flirting.. then he gestures to her to join him in his room.... etc...

yeah and I imagine that junk happens all the time in the industry and largely is mundane...and harmless.

If he knew she was an employee, he's really stupid because his company is definitely involved with that. She could sue them.

A woman made an accusation of improper conduct in a hotel lobby. Can't link it here right now.

This skank was probably an Eagles fan looking to strong arm some game tickets from the NFL Channel and Michael was the perfect target for her game plan!

I have 0 trust in the NFL's judgment. They celebrate Ray Lewis..I will leave it right there.
They celebrated a convicted felon in Vick too. And Irvin does have a job with them despite his history.

I’m not sure why any fan would assume Irvin is totally innocent with his history?

It’s been reported she wasn’t some Bimbo in the hotel , it was another NFL employee also staying at the hotel.

I never said hes 100% innocent. But I aint sure whatever he did here rises to the level we see here. Yeah Vick sickens me terribly..it was horrific . The Ray Lewis thing takes the cake. Dude actually killed someone or participated in it,yet he is Godlike and the networks fawn all over him. Irvin farts and its heavy handed.

Im not sure how we can measure either way. All we can do is judge on the actions taken.

The only level we are at is being moved from hotel and benched from working.

Anything the NFL says or does has zero credibility when it comes to discipline, accountability or character assessment. They are all over the place with no consistency or adhesion to precedent. So just ignore everything coming out of their press office. And shame on all of you who are so quick to jump on the hate wagon but that's not a surprise around here. Bunch of pre-judging, angry individuals who should take a step back and judge themselves first before they judge others.
Well-said. The NFL only cares about its “shield” as proven with CTE, Ray Rice, etc. They will give in where it benefits them rather than do what’s right. Having said this, I will wait until more facts come out before judging.

He obviously did more than just flirt, he made an inappropriate comment while he was drunk. When you’re in the public eye you have to be very careful what you say and do. Nothing probably comes of this if he was simply an average Joe.
What if she was flirting and he turned her down and it set her off
