By pick value, trading the 27th pick could land you the Atlanta 2nd and 3rd round picks, just as an example. Dallas would end up with 45, 59, 76 and 91 instead of 27, 59 and 91.

I'm not sure if it could be pulled off in reality but I think that Dallas has so many holes to fill that doing a trade like this would be wise. Particularly because it doesn't look like there is a lot of value at 27. Thoughts?

Trading downs always sounds better on paper than in practice.

This doesn’t sound better
Thats what I mean. Our last two first round trade downs got us Terrance Williams and Chauncey Golston. Williams was decent, but neither are needle movers. Trading down is a good idea when your board is wiped

Obviously you have to draft well. If they stay in the pick, I hope they don't get Taco 2.0

Dallas does have a poor track record recently in the 2nd and 3rd rounds though.

Dallas might trade down but they won’t leave the first round. They like the 5th year options.

Too far back for me.

I’d be down to move back like 2/3 slots if we have a few guys we like on the board but at 26 Is rather stand pat.
