Sorry, I dont understand. Makes no sense to me. I mean I understand how you might get attached. But when you watch a RB holding back a great back like Pollard, costing 18 million and making the Cowboys worse when he touches the ball? How can you sit there and watch that and not get pissed? Watching Zeke run the ball the last few years has been torcher. And then having to watch Pollard come in and then go back to the bench is nauseating.

Would players be willing to sign with the Cowboys after June 1? That is the question. That 10.9 million could easily sign 2 contributors to this team to fill holes.

I guess that money can be used on draft class and we can use available space right now to sign those players. There might be another restructure (Lawrence) coming down that can give us more $$$, not to mention a rework on Tyrone Smith deal.

Elliot is a 10.8million cap hit if we keep him and if we release him now it would be an 11.8 dead cap hit. So releasing Elliot does not help with signing a players this year. I say keep Elliot one more season
