Zeke's appreciation thread

It’s funny. If you sit out we hate you. You okay hurt and don’t play like you’re 100% we hate you. Tough position to play.

Wasn’t a fan of the guy prior to coming to Dallas but he put that star on loved the guy ever since. I remember watching the Skins some years back and being envious they got Alfred Morris and RG3 and got to build on that core. Of course it didn’t last as long as we thought thankfully. But we had our own version and enjoyed watching Dak and Zeke form that brotherhood. We’ve been contenders more so then not since drafting him.

I enjoyed the ride. Sucks it ended without a ring but it was time. Wish him the best. True professional. Any real human being who knows their worth would’ve did the same thing he did in Cabo. If not they are fool.

Thanks for every effort, Zeke! While the years took a toll, no one can say you didn’t give your best every week when healthy or injured. I wish you the best. But this was the best move for the team.

Once he took Stephen Jones to the wood shed, his contract took on a life of its own. We can all have our different opinions regarding this but we can all agree he was a tough SOB. Take a bow 21......good luck

Actually it's 109 games Elliott played for the Cowboys.
6 games in the NFL postseason: 2016, 2018 ( two), 2021, 2022 (two)
103 carries, 393 yds and 11 catches, 65 yds.

It's odd that when a player leaves a team (retirement, trade, released, etc.) ---- the league and sports media for the most part don't include or mention the playoff games --- and those statistics.

I'll miss the constant feed me gestures.

Unless they show McCarthy more.
